After what had just happened to her, before Devon came in, it was pretty easy to get her to give in.

Devon thought about it.
"Greece. I'll take you to Greece." He told Akito. Akito knew that was where he was from, even though his name suggested otherwise.

"Of course. Another country completely." Akito smiled a bit. It was slightly forced. She didn't mind the place. It's just, what happened... Kaiser had broken her, now Devon was picking up the pieces and putting her back together.

"Right now," Akito said suddenly. "Let's leave right now. I'll change and we'll leave. We'll tell Hatori to tell everyone I left on a trip, and then we can leave."
She wasn't thinking it through. She suddenly just had to leave. Had to get out of this house, away from the family, away from Kaiser.

"Call him and leave a message. Don't tell him where we went, though." Devon told her, a strange sparkle in his eyes. He was escaping with Akito. Nothing would hurt her where he was going to take her.
"My house has probably rotted down by now, but I'd like to get a place in the country side... if you could call it a country side." He said to Akito, glancing at the door almost nervously as if Kaiser was on the other side, listening in.

Akito nodded. "I don't care where the house is. The country-side sounds nice." She was, for the most part, put back together for now. She went to the closet. She'd kept some of the western clothes that Alice had given her. But only the ones she'd really liked. Most of them covered a lot of skin. There was one sundress she'd particularly liked, but wasn't quite sure whether she should wear it.
"I can't believe I'm actually thinking of what I should change into," she said quietly. She laughed a little. "Do women worry about such foolish things often?"

Devon shrugged. "It's not really foolish to them." He said. "I guess you'll learn in time how to be a woman." He told her with a slight smirk.

Akito decided to just pull out a pair of dark pants and a white, button-up shirt with long sleeves, despite the hot summer day.
"What's it like in Greece?" She asked curiously.

"I actually can't really remember, which is part of the reason I want to go there." Devon said. "I remember it being pretty, Though." He said.

Akito nodded. That was one thing she loved. Scenery. That's one of the reasons she had such a large garden outside the Sohma Main House.
"I look forward to going. I'm going to change, you can stay in. Don't look."
She just didn't want him to leave her alone, because she was afraid that if he did, Kaiser would come back. And then he'd hurt her again. And maybe even kiss her. She didn't like that.
She let her mind wander away from that, not liking the memory. She started undoing the kimono, breathing a sigh of relief when the obi was off. She loved the looks of kimonos, but she could hardly bend with that thing on, let alone breathe.

"That maid that set me up with Kaiser is a complete idiot," Akito said suddenly, regaining some of her temper back now. After the kimono was off, she slipped on her shirt, and then her pants.
"Safe now," she added, meaning he could look.

Devon turned and said, "I aggree." Before he swept her up into his arms. He smiled slightly at her.
"Now, let's get out of here." He said, walking very carefully out of Akito's living section of the main house. Wouldn't want a maid to catch him...

Akito smiled again as he picked her up, and was very much willing.
"We'll call Hatori with a pay phone when we get to the airport. I don't own a cell phone and I don't want to waste any time waiting here before we leave," she said, voice muffled as she talked into his shirt. She wondered whether she should tell Devon that Kaiser had kissed her...

"Okay." Devon murmured, taking Akito away from the Sohma Main House. Just outside of the gate, his car was parked and they could drive to the airport and buy tickets there.
