Devon suddenly greabbed the front of Tadao's shirt and slammed him up against the wall.
"Don't say that! Try harder!" He snapped, his eyes wide and dark with anger.
"Get off of him!" Shade yelled at him, grabbing the nearest item, which happened to be a lamp, and swinging it at Devon. It shattered again his back, not even hurting him at all. Oh well... didn't hurt to try. "NOW!" Roared Shade. Devon still looked angry, but he stopped pushing Tadao up against the wall, and pulled him back to Akito.
"Try. Harder." He growled out. Shade also growled at him.
"Get away from Tadao." She snarled. Devon shot her a glance, but stepped away.

Tadao's eyes widened as he was slammed against the wall. Ow! That hurt. There was a bit of damage on the wall. He was releived when Devon stopped.
"I-I don't know what to do!" He said.

Devon let out another growl, then pushed Tadao out of the way. He leaned over Akito, then began to do CPR.
One... two... three... four...
He breathed into Akito's mouth, trying to get her to breath again, he lifted his head fromt Akito, then began to push down on her heart again....
One... two... three... four...
Breath.... Breath...
Devon kept on trying to get Akito to breath again.
"No... Akito... no... c'mon, don't die on me..."

Tadao watched, while Devon worked over Akito, and whispered in Shade's ear, "Is she still alive? Or is she already gone?"
Shade wouldn't have had time to answer his question, because soon after, Akito started breathing again. Slightly. Only barely. And her heartbeat, though faint, had restarted. Her eyelides fluttered, and opened, for a brief moment, and then closed again. She was still in danger, but certainly alive.

Devon pulled away looking relieved. He closed his eyes and sighed, stepping back.
"There." He said a bit coldly to Tadao. Shade glared at him.

Akito opened her eyes again, and inhaled deeply, practically gasping for air. She sighed. She struggled to sit up, and managed to. She was slumped over weakly, though. She pulled her knees to her chest.
"What happened?" She questioned, looking up at Devon. All she could remember was that she couldn't breathe. She didn't seem to notice Shade was in the room.
Tadao took Shade's hand and squeezed it. He felt guilty that he'd given up so easily. He hadn't had any idea of what to do, under all that pressure. And it felt awkward even thinking of doing CPR, right in front of Devon, and Shade. And who was that girl? With Devon?

"Your lung collasped." Devon said to Akito. "But you're fine now." He said.
Rhea walked up to Akito. "I'm glad you're okay." Rhea said with a smile.

Devon sighed. "Your heart stopped... and I got angry." Devon said a bit softly.

Akito just nodded. "Mm-hm." She sounded a bit exhausted. She laid her head on top of her knees, closing her eyes again. She wasn't sleeping, though.
"Life expectancy is going up, I hope?" Tadao murmered to Shade.

Devon looked over at them. Last time he was told this about Akito, he nearly ripped Hatori's head off. He managed to control his anger for now. So... this was the one that can see the dates of people's death. What a morbid ability...
