It was sunny today. And rather warm. Akito was just leaning against a tree in the humongous garden behind the Main House, which was not visible through all the trees. The warmth on her face almost made her drowsy. She yawned a bit.

Hera was walking in the woods that day. Her skin sparkling when the sunlight would shine through the leaf-less tree.
That's when that scent came to her. That woman's scent. Akito. A small growl came from the back of her throat.
She wasn't close enough to see Akito yet, but she could definatley smell her.
She continued to walk in the direction of the scent, finally seeing Akito.
"Hello!" She called, her voice chiper and cheerful.

Akito glanced in the direction of the voice.
"Oh. What do you want?" She hissed angrily. "Haven't I already made it clear you're not allowed here?"

Hera looked hurt.
"Honestly, Akito, I just wanted to say 'I'm sorry'." She said, sounding truthful. She had been good at doing that ever since she was a human.

"I won't believe you," Akito replied. She was usually distrustful (anybody who went through what she did would be). "Anyway, I think we both know you came here for something else, though I don't know what that may be."

Hera glared at Akito.
"Proving something." She hissed out, before snapping her hand out and grabbing a fistfull of Akito's hair, dragging her closer to Hera.

Akito yelped as she was pulled towered Hera. She tried to pull away but that just hurt made it hurt more badly. "What are you trying to prove?! Let go of me!"

"He doesn't love yoU!" She screeched, throwing Akito into the tree that she had been leaning against.

Akito slammed against the tree with a thud and groaned, sliding to the ground. "How would you know?" She said almost faintly, weakly. "You haven't seen him for a long time now, and he said himself that he loved me." She tried to stand up again, and finally managed to after using the tree for support.

Akito let out a cry of pain. Hey, it hurts when a vampire slaps you. She pressed up against the tree. "That's not true. I think I know, he's saved me from being killed several times."

Akito actually flinched. "Not true," she said shakily. "He loves me. How do you know he'd pity me for anything, anyway?"

"You're ill, Akito. You're forgetting that I can read the thoughts of others. I know that you are dying. Devon was thinking about it... so... how many years left now? Two? Three?" She questioned with a smirk.

Akito flinched away from Hera's biting words. "Shut up," her voice trembled. "I think I know that he feels more than pity for me," she hissed, her voice not trembling anymore. She couldn't allow Hera to know that she feared her.

"He sure got really mad at my doctor when he found out my life expectency. I don't think he only pities me if he nearly killed my doctor, who was merely giving us the news," Akito snarled icily. This woman was so much like Ren. Her fists clenched.

Akito winced again. "Cruel..." she muttered under her breath. She was picturing Ren in her mind right now, and then Hera. She imagined herself killing the vampire. Oh, she wished she could do that. Strangle the life out of that b****. "Leave. You're not proving anything except that you're the exact opposite of Devon, and he'll never love you because of how terrible you are."
((She could also say in that post that Akito's just as bad as she. XD Torturing her cousins all the time. Because Hera's bound to catch the thoughts of Rin at least. XD))

"You're just as terrible as I am." She said with a slight hiss. "I don't see why you have it stuck in your mind that you're better then me and that he loves you. He loves me Akito. You're his prey." She hissed out.
