"I feel fine, don't worry," Akito responded before the interruption. Then she turned, red-faced, to the person at the door. She clutched the blankets tighter.
"Get out!" She shouted.

Rhea stood there for a moment, and Devon pushed himself up a bit as if to hide oir protect Akito. Both the sibblings would have been blushing if they had blood.
"I-uhm, sorry. But I have something important to say."
"Leave, tell us later." Devon snapped.
"No! You don't understand! Akito's gonna have a baby! I saw it!"

Any color that was in Akito's face was drained, replaced by perfect white. She looked terrified.
"Wh-what...? No... No, no you're lying! You don't mean it!" It sounded more like she was trying to convince herself that.

Akito squeezed her eyes shut, as if she thought this were some sort of nightmare.
"No, no, no, no. This can't be happening. It hasn't happened before. Why now?" She groaned.

"Get out!" Akito roared at Rhea. "Get out!" She had to get dressed, and she hated this news that she'd just gotten.

Devon sighed.
"She wouldn't lie, Akito." He said softly. "But what no matter what happens, everything will be fine." He told her, cupping her face gently and kissing her lips.

Akito tried half-heartedly to pull out of the kiss, then gave in to him. Then, when it was over, she fought tears.
"I-I can't be a mother, though! I'm... I'm supposed to be pretending to be a man. W-what do I do? I don't... I don't even know what motherly love is, so how am I supposed to love a child? I don't want to turn out like Ren!" Her eyes were getting watery, and she couldn't see due to sudden blurriness in her eyes. She his her face in his chest as they laid down in the bed.

"Hey, hey, don't cry." Devon said softly, stroking her face. "You can dissapear when you start to show, and then after the child's born, and I can take care of him for you, or you can give to the child to one of the Sohma mother's who know about your gender." He told her. "And I know for a fact you won't end up like Ren."

"There are no mothers in the estate that know about my gender except for mine. I'm sure as he** not giving any child to her..." Akito trailed off, merely staying silent for a while.

"Crystal will not get the child. Neither will that Kira woman. Her daughter, that Shade girl, hates me," Akito said a little bitterly.
"How do you know everything will be fine? I... I could die giving birth to the child. I'm frail..."
She didn't like to admit it.

Devon nodded at what he first statement, but the second one about her dying, he grabebd her hands and held them together.
"Do not talk or think like that, Akito. Do not. You will not die." He told her sternly.

Akito felt like mentioning that it was more likely and not that she'd die, but decided against it.
"Okay," she whispered. "Mm... Maybe we should get dressed...?"

"Um... yeah. I guess." Devon murmured, pulling away from her, and stepping out of the bed. He grabbed a clean pair of clothes from his bag and quickly pulled them all.
