Last class of the day- Science. 'Oh crap!' Sarah said, walking into her classroom and was unexcited to find it was a lab. 'Oh, no! This will NOT end good!' She thought to herself. Her teacher, Mrs.Hjort sent her to the back at lab station 8. She sat uncomfortably on the stool.

Hopefully, all they did in that class was listen to the countless rules of the lab. She got out in a rush and weaved her way through the mass of kids to her locker. She stashed her binder there and picked up her backpack. The got into the flow of kids making their way to the main door and was out in open air and freedom.

Austin never wasted time. He was already on the sidewalk the was connected to the school.

Before Austin could say anything, he was pelted by a egg. "HEY!! Whitey!!!" It was the jock from before, but he had some friends with him this time. "We have a little score to settle." Austin didn't say anything. He just wiped off the egg and continued to walk away. "HEY!! We're not done with you!!"

Sarah was clenching and unclenching her fists. "Don't do it. Don't do it." She kept repeating to herself. She eyed kept getting lighter as she spoke to herself "They don't deserve it. Yet." She told herself. She walked next to Austin. "Not the first day of school!"

"HEY, FREAKS!!!" Another jock yelled. He threw a rather sharp rock ath Sarah.

Sarah tensed at the impact o the rock. She stopped, fighting herself not to turn around to face the guys. "Don't you have cheerleaders to do?" she called to them, knowing it was dumb of her. She turned the other way and kept walking.

"You know exactly what I said, unless you have had too many drinks or blows to the head already." Sarah countered. With three years of comebacks, she had millions waiting to come. They were better than keeping her anger inside.

"Why you li-" the jock was cut off when Austin grabbed his throat. Again, his eyes were dull and blank. "He's at it again!! Get Him!!!" All the jocks attacked Austin. Even though Austin was strong in this state he's in, he can't fend off all these guys off at once.

Sarah snapped then. Her eyes turned white, and suddenly, she was there, fending off the jocks. Sarah pushed Austin behind her, bellowing "Stay away from him!" She pushed two of them back, so hard, they toppled over. She round housed kicked the lead jock in the chest. "What did I say about touching!" She screeched. Sarah jumped, grabbing onto One of their throats, her nails dug into them.

Austin was also in a rage. He was punching their lights out. "AH! Let's get out of here," yelled one of the jocks. Soon, others that weren't knocked out ran for it too. Austin's eyes soon returned to normal, and again, he collapsed.

As soon as they were gone, and Austin and her were safe, Sarah snapped out of it, her eyes getting their irises back. A wave of dizziness hit her, and Sarah swayed. She shook her head, looking down at the crumpled Austin. "Oh no." She murmured, crouching over him.

Sarah sat next to him, to lightheaded to yell and wake him up yet. All she really wanted to do was curl up next to him and fall asleep too... She shook her head. No. She would keep watch of him until he woke up on his own. Maybe then he would remember what happened. She remembered when the same thing had happened to her. Not until a year ago, she couldn't remember, then one day, she did.
