Jonathon, a week in Japan just to get used to the surroundings, was drive to the store to get food for dinner. He did learn Japanese, but he could only read and understand Japanese, but not speack it. Which, kinda annoied him, but he got by. He was thinking about what to get for dinner. The light was green, but he was a ways off.
((I was thinking that Jade and Azriel try crossing the street, thinking that they can cross it in time, without zipping acrossing the street.))

Jade had been walking with Azriel. When she saw a car coming, but it was fairly far off, she decided maybe they could try getting across the street without using all their speed. She cast her boyfriend a look that was challenging him, then took long strides across the street. The car was really close by the time she was just out of the way, and got to the other side. She wondered if the driver would yell at her. As she watched, she realized who it was. Her cousin!

Azriel smirked; though he wasn't so sure about it, he followed in step beside her. Of course, she was now distracted and he couldn't quite understand why.

Jonathon looked away for a bit, and accidentally steped on the gas abit. He sped up. He was nearly to where the cross walk was. He looked back, and stepped on the brake, and he didn't know that he sped up. He suck his head out the window," hey! Watch where you're....Huh?" He stopped," Jade? Is that you?"

"Sorry. It's just that, it's been so long. And you grew up so much. You're not the little cousin I used to know anymore," Jonathon smiled back," and how have you been?" He looked at Azriel," and who is this?"

Jade laughed. "Last time you saw me, I wasn't very little anyway, Jon! Park that car and get over here! I've been fine, by the way." She glanced at Azriel. "Heh, he's my boyfriend."

Jonathon parked on the side of the road and walked up to them. "Well, hi. My name's Jonathon." He held out he hand to shake.

Azriel shook hands with Jonathon, giving a slight nod. "Azriel. Nice to meet some more of Jade's family." He said, giving a friendly smile. Jade's control was so much better then his had ever been.

Jonathon smiled," I'm glad that my cousin is all right. You just moved away from America and didn't say anything. Uh," he searched his pockets, and thought it through. "Hey, how about we catch up at a resturant, my treat."

Jade rolled her eyes at her cousin. "Jeez, you act as if I fell off the face of the earth!" She laughed. "The family moved here like three years ago, and I know for a fact Mom's talked to your mom."
When he offered to take her to dinner, she said, "Um, I don't mind. Azriel, you wanna come?"

Jonathon smiled," ok." He got back in his car," come on, get in. It'll be faster if I drove us there." He started up the car, and unlocked the doors.

Jonathon waited for an opening, then drove down the road. "I hope a fast food resturant is ok. I don't have enough for a fancy resturant."

"Yeah. Oh, I probably won't eat anything either, Jon. I'm not hungry right now," Jade said, looking embarrassed... minus and blushing she would have been doing before. "But we can still hang out there. It'd be fun," she said.

Jade would have blushed. "Heck no! I'm eighteen, Jon. We wouldn't be engaged yet," she said, embarrassed again. "But, anyway... Azriel and I've been together for three years. Though, actual dating started only recently," she said.

"Oh, ok." Jonathon was a good driver. Kept his eyes on the road. "So, how is your family doing Jade? How are the 'Sugar Demons' doing," He asked with a joking tone.
