Jonathon laughed. The 'Sugar Demons' are worse than before. "I'm here because I got a job at a popular manga company. I believe it's TokyoPop that I'm working for," he repiled.

"Ah, college at the moment." Azriel replied. It was online though, since he was worried about someone bleeding and him losing control. And then there was the fact that he didn't really have to work since he was living with the Cullen's.

Azriel slipped out after a slight nod. He got around to the side of the car before Jade could, and opened her door for her with a slight smirk. "Just regular college. Not really majoring in anything as of now." He stated.

Jade smiled at Azriel, thanking him as she got out of her cousin's car. She gave her boyfriend a quick peck on the cheek, then headed inside with the two of them. When they entered and Jonathon left to order himself some food, she walked over to a table away from a window. Even though it wasn't exactly sunny right now, you never know when the clouds would move out of the way.

Jonathon sat down across from his cousin and her boyfriend. He ordered a large fry, 10 piece chickhen nuggets, and a large vanilla milk shake. It's what he usually gets. "So, Jade, how's life in Japan for you so far?" He took a bite of one of his fries.

"It's going fairly well," Jade replied. She ignored the unappetizing scent of his food and ignored how good he smelled. She wondered if he'd noticed the change of eye color. Then again, since it was beginning to change from red to gold, it almost COULD pass as her old brown eyes. But they were definitely missing that hint of green, and the old dark splotch in her right eye. They weren't exactly the correct shade of brown, either...

"Thats good." Jonathon looked up to see his cousins face. He noticed something strange. "Hey Jade, whats with your eyes? They look like they're changing colors." He smirked," did you get a surgery on your eyes," he asked, jokingly.

Jade forced a smile. Lucky for her, it looked real. She did it a lot when she had conversations sometimes, to be polite. "Naww," she said, smirking at him. "They're colored contacts. I thought they looked pretty cool, so I wanted to try them out," she lied. She felt really bad, really guilty, just lying to her cousin's face like that. But she had no choice.

"Oh. Interesting." Jonathon finished his fries then moved on to his chickhen nuggets. He knew that his cousin wouldn't lie to him, well, at least with little things. "So, did you two have a big meal or something? I'm just wondering."

"Yeah, big meal," Jade said. That wasn't a lie. She'd had a big meal all right. She looked around, and wished that vampires could consume human food. She could so go for a Pepsi right about now.
"Anyway, um, I missed you," she added, grinning at him. He still towered over her, which was pretty cool. Azriel really wasn't much taller than her.

"Ah, ok. And I missed you," Jonathon said after chewing a chickhen nugget. He took a drink from his milkshake, and started eating another nugget. Soon he was finished. He looked at his watch. "Wow, it's late.....Hey. How about I give you two a ride home? That why, I could visit you now and then," he offered.

"Uhm... I don't know. Um..." Jade frowned for a moment. She wondered what her cousin would think of her. She didn't live with her family. She lived with the Cullens and Azriel. Brittney did too.
She looked over at Azriel to see if that would be okay. "Um, you all right with that, Azriel?"

Azriel met her eyes for a moment, thoughtful. Would it really matter where she lived...? He really needed to get his own house, for him her that is. It would be more proper. Now, he did have a bit of money from his past three hundred years or so, so he would have plenty for a house. But he certainly wasn't as rich as the Cullen's. At least they wouldn't have to worry about food, and the Cullen's would let them hunt on their land. He was positive of that.
"Whatever works for you is fine." Then again, that would leave Britney, well, most likely simply with him and Jade.

Jade nodded slowly, then shrugged. It's not like Jonathon was one to judge or anything anyway.
"Sure," she told Jonathon, smiling. "We'll have to give you directions. I'm not staying at Mom's and Dad's house right now. At the moment I'm staying with Azriel and some of his relatives," she told him. She stood up. "C'mon, we should go now," she suggested.
