((Creative Title, right? XD))
Devon walked the streets of the all-too-familar city in Italy. If you're thinking Volterra, you would be wrong. I'm talking Vience. Devon had once again chaned his mind on where he wanted to go.
He ground was sligtly damp, the stone was covered in water. This was an older part of the city. The houses were still on stilts to keep out of the flood.
He looked up, his blonde hair fell gently around his face, he looked around, a soft smile on his face. You see, Devon had lived here for a short while during his youth, and he had loved the place. RIght down to even the Master's Thieves Guild, which he actually had been apart of for some while.
He wondered back into the newer part of the city, watching cars drive by as he sat down on a wet bench.
There was one thing he disliked about this city. It was always wet THe clouds gathered above and most people on the streets went back to their houses. But devon just continued to sit there...watching the people around him.

A girl saw Devon. He'd been part of the Volturi at one point. They'd known eachother, and she'd taken a liking to him. I guess you could call it a crush... he didn't like her back. She practically floated over to the wet bench.
"Hello," She said. Her voice sounded like wind chimes when a breeze gently floated through them. "Miss me? That why you've come back, Devon?" She asked, playfullness on her face and in her voice.

Devon looked up at her. His gold eyes searched her face. It was familar. "Diane?" He asked, hopping her got her name right. "Sorry, no such luck." He said to her.

Dianne made a face at his words. "Why'd you come back then? Hey, what's with your eyes? You're a vegetarian now?"

"I find it better then slaughtering innocent people." He said to her. "I came back...to think." He said.

"Think... about what?" She asked, sitting down. "Promise I won't tell..." Dianne said, twirling some of her curly hair around her finger.

"And why would I tell you?" He asked icyly, glaring daggers of icy death at Dianne.

Dianne looked upset. "That hurts, Devon," She said. "I just want to know what's going on. Maybe help make it better?" She suggested. She ran her fingers gently down the side of his face, in a sort of loving way.

Devon pushed her hands away. "Stop." He demanded, getting up.

Dianne was hurt now. There would have been tears in her eyes if she were alive. She was concerned too. Devon wasn't usually this irritable. Something was wrong. She dropped her attempt to be seductive.
"Devon, I'm sorry. I truly am. Please just tell me what's wrong?"

"No, Dianne. I will not. Excuse me, please." His voice got a bit softer, then her walked away.
((She should follow him.))

Dianne followed him silently. She didn't speak, didn't make a single sound of footfall.
After what felt like hours, she said, "Devon... Did you meet someone?" He'd know what she meant. She meant met somebody and falling in love... then possibly left that lucky girl for some reason.

He paused for a moment. "Yes....and I hurt her...I didn't mean to..." His eyes stung, a vampire's version of crying.

Dianne sighed. "You're aware that this girl who was lucky enough to have you as her lover probably misses you dearly. Do you think she'll really be able to get over you leaving?" As much as it pained her to say this, she wanted Devon to be happy, and if he was away from this girl he loved, he wasn't going to be happy. He was in love with a human. She sighed. She decided she wouldn't tell Aro, no doubt the girl knew about vampires. If Aro knew, he'd probably have this girl that Devon loved killed.
Sure, maybe she drank human blood, but that didn't mean Dianne wasn't kind now and then.

He gave Dianne a soft smile. "Thanks...but I can't hurt her again. I just can't" He said on a sadder note.

"But what if you're hurting her right now, by being away from her?" Dianne asked.

"It's better then ripping her thoat half-way out." Her grimaced.

"Something tells me that she would disagree." Dianne laughed once. "So, you just staying 'round here forever?"

"Nah, I might go back to Japan, eventually."

"And see that lucky girl of yours, or just go there and walk by her house every day?" Dianne questioned.
