Ember walked down the mall. Music blaring from every store and the cold enviroment kept the people inside from getting too cold. The clouds circulated outside as it threatened to storm. Every one was waiting it out before they went home so it ws very crowded on that saturday afternoon.
Ember walked past a store that cuaght her interest momentarily. It wasn't a story you saw often in malls. It played old folk songs and had a strange wardrobe of clothes.
A new song began to play.
Early one morning, as the sun was rising.
I saw a maiden singing, in the valley below.
Please don't decieve me never leave.
How could you use a poor maiden so?
Just like the other day, when that song had been sung, at first she blanked out for a while. Then her eyes blackened and her became very...very hungry.
And look at all the people!
Ember managed to lure one away from the crowd to a closed store. No body saw them inside. The others were just minding their own buisness.
The person dropped dead, A bit of blood was on Ember's lip and she brushed it away with the back of her hand.
Her red eyes gleamed as she stepped out of the store.
She walked down the mall with a powerful steps. She looked like she owned all the land that she walked on.
She made her way to Yuki's house. An occasional rain drop would fall on her. But she took no notice and continued to walk.
She quickly made it to the residence and knocked on the door, looking down, a twisted grin on her pale face.
