Fathers

[Platinum]

Shade was walking with kyo, just like normal people. They weren't really going to shop anywhere, they were just... you know... walking.

It was a fairly warm day out. Shade only had on a long sleve black shirt and a pair of jeans. And of course... shoes.... Inbetween her hips, a small bump jutted out.

She walked next to him. Not really saying much but that completely normal because they both really didn't talk to each other when they were together. They just... silently enjoyed each others precences.

She brushed her hair away from her face when a small breeze picked up. She looked down at the small little bump for a split second, but then looked ack up to make sure she didn't run into any body or any thing.

Kyo stopped in his tracks as they walked. A man ahead of them, with black hair. It seemed the sight of the man walking toward them made him completely freeze. The man had the same face as Kyo. When the man noticed Kyo, he seemed to begin to glare at him.

"Dad..." Kyo muttered under his breath. The man continued to advance, then stopped in front of Kyo. Kyo was just a bit shorter than his father. Kyo remained sort of calm, while his father still glared at him. There was an unimaginable tension in the air.

Shade blinked when Kyo muttered the word 'dad' under his breath.
She glanced at Kyo, then at the man. She didn't know anything about Kyo's parents except the his mother had comminted suside.
"Uh, Kyo, is this your dad?" She asked him quietly. The tension was making her a bit nervous.

[Akkii]

Kyo nodded. His lips formed a thin line.

"You..." Kyo's father hissed. "How dare you...? How can you show your face...? How can you spend time with someone, after what you did? Or have you not accepted the fact that you killed your mother." It was quiet. Nobody else would hear his voice, except for Shade and Kyo.

"It's not my fault," Kyo replied, equally quiet.

Shade's eyes darkened. She didn't like this man. She didn't like him at all.
"What are you talking about?" She hissed out quietly.

[Akkii]

"You are associating with this girl and she does not even know? No wonder she's with you. I'd bet she thinks you're normal, too. Ha!" Kyo's father chuckled darkly.

"He believes that, since my mother committed suicide because of my birth, it's my fault. Just because I was born," Kyo explained to Shade under his breath.

[Platinum]

Shade blinked at what Kyo had told her. She glared up at Kyo's father. She felt a very strong hate for him now. That was as stupid as saying she was the reason her mother was dying.
"You are an idiot." She told Kyo's father harshly, her eyes narrowed. "And I hate people like you." She spat out.

[Akkii]

"You don't know my son like you think you do, young lady," Kyo's father said a bit harshly.

"You're wrong. She does know me," Kyo spat back.

[Platinum]

"I obviously know him better then you do." She hissed. "It wasn't Kyo's fault. And if you would actually take the time to get to know him, rather then blaming him for something that he did not do, you would see that he is a good person." She said, defending Kyo.

[Akkii]

"He isn't a good person. He can't be forgiven. He killed my wife!" Kyo's father accused.

[Platinum]

"How!? Kyo didn't do anything!" Protested Shade, her voice getting louder now.

[Akkii]

"His mother couldn't stand him, and killed herself. Just because he wasn't directly involved, it doesn't mean it wasn't his fault," Kyo's father hissed.

"Shut up! It's not my fault!"

[Platinum]

"That doesn't make any sense! Kyo was like, a toddler!" She snapped at Kyo's father.

[Akkii]

"Shut up, stupid girl. You haven't known him his entire sixteen years," Kyo's father retorted.

"You haven't either! You've only been around my first five!" Kyo replied. "Don't talk to Shade like that!" He shoved his father back, he'd lost his temper.

"Don't touch me, you disgusting monster," Kyo's father hissed, backing away a bit, almost as if expecting Kyo to kill him.

[Platinum]

"Don't call Kyo that!" Shade almost roared. If Kyo was a monster, then there was no telling what Shade would be concidered to his father. "Kyo is not a monster!" She now yelled at him, attracting the attention of a few people.
"And I am NOT a STUPID girl!" She yelled angerly at him. It's wouldn't be long untill she completely snapped and lost her temper.

[Akkii]

"Tone it down, Shade. We can't attract too much attention," Kyo muttered to her.

Kyo's father had stopped backing away, but wasn't getting nearer.

"I suggest you keep away from Kyo, Shade," Kyo's fater advised.

Kyo gritted his teeth to hold back a loud comment.

[Platinum]

She glared darkly at Kyo's father, then grabbed Kyo's arm, as if to pull him closer and to show that she wasn't going to stay away from him.
"Kyo is my closest freind. I will not stay away from him because some crazed old man told me to." She snapped, still holding onto Kyo's arm. It was probably being used as a stress ball right now... just kidding. I think...
"If you actually take the time to know you son," She said, putting a lot of emphasis on the word son. "Then you would see that he is not a monster." She said to him.

[Akkii]

"No one can change how one is born," Kyo's father replied coldly. With that he turned and walked away.

"Shade. Let go of my arm. You're hurting it..."

[Platinum]

"Sorry." She mumbled, then let go of Kyo's arm. She grimaced.
"Sorry... but I think you dad is stupid." She said to Kyo bitterly. She hoped Kyo wouldn't take offence. He probably wouldn't..

[Akkii]

"It's not my fault..." Kyo muttered a bit bitterly. By 'not my fault' he, of course, meant his mother's death.

"G*d, I feel like I'm gonna throw up," he said suddenly, one arm clutching his stomach, the other over his mouth.
