Nawat blinked. "I do not know. What does 'sama' mean?" the man changd the subject, cocking his head again.

"It's a very respectful suffix, used only for those of highest authority. It's quite the compliment, when someone calls you 'sama'!" Ayame explained dramatically.
Yuki was fuming. You could practically see the steam rising up from him, because of his anger.

"Oh." Said Nawat. "Thank you, Ayame-sama." He said, trying out the new human word that he had learned today. Ayame seemed like a nice enough man. Man. Not fae, like him, but he could handle that. He wasn't like the others, not like the Gray Lords or the higher fae that thought they were better then others.

((XD Has he got Ayame wrong. LoL Ayame's one of the most self-centered people in Furuba...))
Yuki wanted to point out to Nawat that Ayame was mocking him, in his own little way, but decided not to.
"Ahaha, Nawat, you will have to come down to my shop sometime."
"Nii-san..." Yuki protested to his older brother, who ignored him for the moment.
"You'd love it! You'd get along very well with my assistant, Mine."
Yuki groaned.

Nawat grinned slightly. "That would be nice." He said to Ayame.
((They should go inside and make tea, and Nawat goeas to pour himself some, but the kettle is made of iron and he gets really hurt. XD Just a thought, since when fae touch iron, they're skin literaly burns when they touch it. XD))

"Anyway! Let's go inside, and have some of darling Tohru's delicious tea! I'll even help by making some of my famous, far superior tea. Maybe I could make an exception, just this once, and let you have some! Yuki-kun, too!"
"I don't want any!" Yuki snapped.
"Your loss. Come on, Nawat-sama!" Ayame said, leading the man in. Yuki trailed behind the two, to make sure his brother didn't do something totally idiotic.

Nawat followed him, not saying a word. He blinked a bit, and followed. Once inside, he studied the house. He smiled slightly at the human girl.

"Ah! You came in!" Tohru said cheerily as she saw the three enter. She'd just finished making some tea.
"Darling flower, why don't you step aside for now? I shall make some tea!" Ayame said.
Shigure came into the room.
"AYA! You're making tea? Tea?! Gimme!"
"Good tea takes time, my love," Ayame said. "Yes, indeed, I still care about you, even if you insist marrying that beautiful flower, Crystal."
As he spoke, he began preparing his the tea.
"Nawat-sama, why don't you try some of Tohru-kun's tea while you wait for me to finish making mine? Tohru-kun is nearly talented in the arts of tea-making as I am!"

Nawat nodded once and pulled out a cup from the cabinet. Setting it down, he picked up the kettle.
Instantly, Nawat yelped and almost threw the kettle down to the ground. D***! It was iron! Gah! The smeel of bruning flesh filled the room and he looked down at his hands that had dark red with large blisters even already. The burns on his hands had to be third degree. And a hot kettle couldn't cause that. Nawat hissed anicent curse words underneath his breath, Nawat normally didn't cuss at all. But if the gray lords found out he had been to careless, they would be very upset with Nawat...

Tohru, who was still in the room, jumped.
"Ah! Nawat-san! Are you okay? Ah! I should have poured it! How rude of me!"
"Is it bad? Should I call Haa-san? I mean, Tadao?" Shigure asked. He probably couldn't call Hatori over. He was hunting today, so...
"Nawat-san, may I see your hands? Are you alright?" Tohru asked, still very concerned.

Nawat shook his head and pulled his hands away from her, clenching them even though they hurt. His eyes were wide. She couldn't see. Not the nestling, she wouldn't know what to think. "I'm fine." He said to her, his hands still clenched and held towards him. He touched the kettle with his foot. "Not... not to be rude.... but could you pick that up for me? I'll clean up the spilled tea." He told her. He gently unclenched his hands, the blisters were a bit bigger now, he went to get a hand towel to clean it up.

"No, it's okay, I'll clean it," Tohru said, very gently taking the towel from him. "Eh... since you won't let anyone else take care of your hands, maybe you should take care of them yourself. Wash them. It might help," she offered. To be honest, she'd caught a glimpse of his hands when she'd taken the towel. Obviously, he didn't want the others to know, so she said nothing. But she gave him a quick knowing, and worried, look, before going down on her knees and cleaning up the tea before the man could protest.

Nawat shifted his gaze away from Tohru and murmured something to himself. He nodded, still now looking at Tohru and gently cleaned off his injured hands. What was he supposed to say? Sorry, I just felt like randomly screeching and throwing the tea kettle. Yeah, like they would ever believe that. Tohru was a smart girl, he already knew this. She could figured it out if she truly wanted too. The cool water running down his hands made them feel a bit better. He pulled his hands out of the water after he had gingerly washed them, then patted them dry with another hand towel.

"Nawat-san, are you sure you're fine?" Tohru asked, biting her lip. The blisters had been so big! "I-I could bandage it up for you, if you want." Her eyes promised no questions would be asked.

Nawat gave her a charming smile. "I'll be fine, Miss Tohru. Honsetly." He said to her. "Now go enjoy your tea."

"Nawat-sama, are you leaving?" Ayame asked. He'd finished making his tea, and Shigure was pouring three glasses of it. Him, Aya, and Nawat, since Ayame wanted Nawat to have a cup.

Nawat shook his head. "Nah. I just don't want to be any ore troublesome for Tohru." He said, flashing a smile at Tohru, showing all of his bright white teeth.

Tohru smiled back. He was so polite!
Ayame nodded. "Of course! Of course! Here is a cup of my famous tea," he said, handing Nawat a cup, grinning. "You will love it!"
Tohru had finished cleaning up the tea, put the towel in the laundry room, and poured the last of the tea, the tea that hadn't been spilled--luckily there was some left-- into cups. Enough for her, Yuki and Kyo.
"Kyo-kun, Yuki-kun, do you want some tea?" She called. The boys were not in the room. Yuki had left, apparently to do the pile of homework that they'd all been assigned for summer.
"He** no!" Kyo shouted from the roof--yes he heard her, and he was loud enough that she had heard him--not wanting to see Ayame.
"I'll be down in a few moments, Honda-san," Yuki called from his room.

Nawat tasted it. He wasn't used to human food... or drinks. Most of it was so... bland. But he smiled polietly anways. "It's very good, thank you, Ayame." He said to the man. The tea was good, but of course, it was human and fae didn't like a lot of human things.

Ayame clapped excitedly. Shigure drank his own. "Amazing as always, Aya-san!"
