Crystal stiffened when Shigure touched Akito's face. She managed to smile when Shigure grinned ovoer at her, but her body was still tense. She had stood back behind Shigure, not speaking to Akito but watching her intently like a gaurd dog.

Akito finally smacked Shigure away. It almost looked half-hearted.
"Fine," she growled, still glaring, but a little calmer. "But how do I know I can believe you?"
"I've never lied to you," Shigure pointed out.
"Yes," Akito replied sarcastically. "You've only betrayed me."
"Oh, please trust me, Akito?" Shigure said. "If I am lying, you can rip out my hair."
Akito sighed. "Fine. Get out of my sight. You can get married."
Shigure beamed, took Crystal's hand, and led her out. "I'm getting too good at that. It was so easy." He laughed a little, giving her a kiss as they got to the car.

Crystal followed him out, smiling now.
"We got luckier then Hatori and Kira did, which is good." She said to him, before sliding gracefully into the car.

"Mm. Hatori relies on respect. I know best how to get her to do what I want. I know, that sounds really bad," Shigure said, laughing. He started driving the car when they were both in.

Crystal laughed. "I wasn't surprised that KIra jumped infront of him. She's kinda protective." She said.

"Yeah, but you know what? I'd take a flying vase for you any day," Shigure said with a laugh, eyes going a very warm chocolate brown.

"It does? I was joking. I mean, it was serious, but it was a joke, too." Shigure chuckled again, and after a little while longer of driving, he pulled up in his dirt drive way, helping Crystal out.

Crystal grinned at him. "I know." She told him with a slight chuckle. Crystal accepted Shigure's help out of the car.

Crystal took another step, but her ankles and knees gave out on her. The girl tumbled to the ground, braceing her fall with her hands. Her eyes were wide, what just happened? She had just fallen.
She had been looking down at the ground, but now she looked forward, and a soft, glowing white light stood infront of her. Slowly, the white glow formed into the shape of a wolf. SHe had never really noticed how beautiful she looked in wolf form. She knew as a werewolf, she was beautiful, but her wolf form was stunning. She figured Shigure could not see the wolf standing infront of her, because the wolf was see through to her.
The wolf bowed it's head once to Crystal, then dissapeared into the air, to join the other wolf ancestors.
She looked up at Shigure and smiled softly, asingle tear trailing down from her big brown eyes and hitting the ground.
((It never explains how to quit the pack in the book, so I just made it up. XD))

Shigure, looking confused, pulled Crystal back up to her feet.
"Eh, Crys? You okay?" He chuckled, a teasing glint in his eye.

Crystal looked at Shigure again.
"The wolf." She managed to say after she had caught her breath. "She's left..." That was all that she girl was able to say. She looked shocked, even though she knew that it was going to happen.

"Ahah, so you're human now, mm?" Shigure asked with a laugh. "Must feel disgusting that you're engaged to a dog," he added jokingly.

Crystal laughed, still holding onto Shigure gently even though she was sure that she wasn't going to fall again.
"Nope. Still as happy as before. Maybe even more happy." She said, resting her forehead against his, smiling happily.

Shigure laughed. "Mm, I see. But you are no longer imprinted on me," he pointed out with a smirk. "Surely, you love me less?"

Crystal shook her head. "Just because the wolf is gone, I don't think that the imprintment has left." She though about it. He was still the perfect mate, and even though the wolf was gone, their children would probably be shapeshifters, like her. But even if it was gone, she still loved him. She was going to tell him that, too.
"I still would love you, imprintment or not." She gave him a small kiss on the lips. If he wanted another, longer kiss, he could have it.

Shigure, eager, took Crystal by the shoulders and seized her upper lip between his, smiling for a moment. He pulled away after a bit, out of breath but not showing it in the least. He grinned at her.
"Love you," he said with a laugh.
