Crystal walked down the well worn dirt path to Shigure's house. The woman was starting to get a bit darker, since she was out alot in the summer. She hadn't bothered to cut her hair, since she would be out of the pack soon, hopefully. It was long and really curly now, it looked wild, but still beautiful.
She walked into Shigure's house, not bothering to knock, she never did.
"Shigure?" She called, leabing around a corner in the house, looking for the man. He might be out on a walk, she never knew where he was going to be in the mornings..
((Not too good, and random title. XD Maybe Shigure could take her out on a walk and then ask the question then? I dunno. XD))

Shigure pounced from behind, though not on her. He just jumped up behind her.
"It's so easy to sneak up on you!" He said. This was followed by a bellowing laughter.
She had no idea what he was about to ask her, though.

Crystal almost yelped when Shigure jumped up from behind her.
"Ah! Shigure!" She laughed the scare off. But he had startled her. "You startled me..." She told the man, but she was grinning.

Shigure kissed Crystal's lips.
"I'm fine with that, too," he said with a laugh.
"Crys, can I ask you a question?" He asked suddenly. This would be fun.

"Sure." Crystal said, causually shrugging. Ussually Shigure just asked what he wanted to ask, but maybe he was just trying to be polite or something. She thought nothing of it.

Shigure beamed. Unlike most men who were about to bring up 'the question,' he wasn't nervous in the very least. His knees didn't shake, his now loving expression didn't waver. He reached into the inside pocket of his brown-gray yukata, and, concealing the box in one hand, took her own with his free one, going onto one knee. He held out the little velvet black box.
"Would the beautiful, Native American fairytale princess marry the inu and young master?" He smiled at her playfully, speaking in a dramatic, but fittingly dramatic voice.

Crystal at first just stared at him. Was her playing with her? But... he sounded so serious. She took one look at the sparkling, gold ring sitting nicely in the small, velvet box.
He wasn't joking.
She held tightly onto Shigure's hand now, trying her best to keep from squealing or shouting in her native tounge.
"Shigure, Shigure, yes!" She said excitedly, her dark brown, almost black eyes gleamed warmly. She restrianed from flinging herself at the man and tackling him in a huge hug. But she couldn't help herself. And like a gaint puppy, then girl very literally tackled Shigure, managing to to hug him.

Shigure tumbled backward, and after a mere moment of her embracing him, he transformed.
"Aww, you ruined the romance!" He whined. "I could have very well used this in a book!" Despite this, the dog let out a loud laugh--it sounded silly leaving a dog's mouth--and gave her as close to a kiss as he could: a lick on the cheek.

"I'm sorry, Shigure." Crystal with a slight laugh, and she buried her head into the dog's neck. His black fur was soft against her skin.
"I got overly excited," she said to him, and she rubbed his fur. She looked back at him, then down at the glittering ring that had been knocked down to the floor when she threw herself at him. She picked it up gingerly, and looked at it glittering between her fingers.

"Mm-hm... So, do you like the heart? And how it looks as if it's got leaves? I had it custom made. It cost a fortune, let me tell you. You'd better feel guitly," Shigure joked. "I don't really mind spending my money on you, though. Are the diamonds too small? I probably wanted them a bit bigger... Heh."

Crystal laughed. "It's wonderful, Shigure, I feel very guilty." She said, saying the last part almost jokingly. She rubbed his fur again. She smiled brightly at him.
"I am so happy." She told him softly.

"Put it ON already, woman!" Shigure bellowed, barking a loud laugh, nudging the hand holding a ring with his cold nose.

Crystal laughed, and slipped the ring on her finger. She admired it for a moment, the grin still on her face. She was finally married to Shigure, after all of this time, he finally chose her. She hugged him again, and squeezed her eyes shut because she didn't want to cry right now, even though they were tears of happiness.

"So, when shall the wedding be?" Shigure asked, excitement in his voice. He'd be a husband to her. He gave her a doggy smile, a wolfish grin, all his teeth showing.

Crystal looked back at him, she managed to keep the tears back for now.
"I don't know... there's going to be a lot of planning... and shouldn't we talk to Akito?" She asked, she disliked Akito, and that showed in her voice when she mentioned the family head.

"I suppose. There's no doubt that I'll have to calm her down. Just do not think me unfaithful. You know what it takes to calm Akito down," Shigure said, giving Crystal a peck on the lips. "Shall we go now? May as well get it overwith, right?"

Shigure picked up his clothes in his mouth and just after he exited the room, he changed back. He pulled his clothes on, then came back out, hooking an arm around her shoulders a bit cautiously, so he wouldn't transform again.
"After you," he said, after opening the door leading outside for her.

Shigure opened the car door for her as well, then got in. He drove to the Main House, then led her out. He entered Akito's room without even knocking at the door.
"Hey, Akito-san!" Shigure said brightly.
Akito stared at him in surprise for a moment before her eyes narrowed.
"What do you want, Shigure?"
"I came to tell you that Crys and I are getting married," he said simply.
Akito rose from sitting on the couch, eyes wild with fury. She walked right up to him, despising that she had to crane her neck just to look into his eyes.
"So you just are? You're not going to ask me for permission. You're just going to leave?!" Akito roared. "You're just going to throw me away?!"
Shigure chuckled. She really was a foolish girl at times. He cupped her face in his hands, stroking her cheeks with his thumbs. "Akito, calm down. I'm not throwing you away. I won't 'leave' you." His words were sincere, a little kinder, soothing. Akito seemed to lean into his hands slightly, now, as she calmed down just slightly.
"So you needn't worry," he told her. He looked over at Crystal and gave her a grin. Maybe this was going to be easier than expected?
