Crystal grinned a bit while listening to Shigure talk.
"Why do ya think she has such a strong dislike for me?" She asked Shigure. She wondered if it had anything to do with Devon saying bad things about the pack.

"Well, Akito doesn't take kindly to any women. Particularly those who get close to the male zodiac. I think that one of the reason she hates women, though, his because of her mother," Shigure explained.

"Hmm." She said thoughtfully. "What did Akito's mother do to her?" She asked, now leaning against the wall, slightly tired from the energy it took to heal her body.

"I'm pretty sure I've told you this... I may not have though. Ren, Akito's mother, is the reason Akito dresses and pretends to be a boy. Ren decided to raise Akito as a boy. My theory is that she was jealous. Akito was going to be surrounded by those of the opposite sex, not to mention Akito's father was the one most excited about Akito's birth. So naturally, Ren envied what Akito would get. Ren wanted to be the only one in her husband's heart, so she figured she'd raise Akito as a boy," Shigure explained.

There was a knock at the door.
"Who could that be?" Shigure wondered out loud. "Come in!" He called.
First he saw long black hair. At first he thought it might be Ren. No, no. Not Ren.
"Ah! Rin!" Shigure chuckled. "What are you doing here?"
The young woman with long black hair walked in. She still had some bruises, from being shoved out a window.
"Dunno... I... Just had the impulse to come here," Isuzu said a bit blankly.

Crystal looked at the girl for a second. Rin was her name? She looked a bit young to be AKito's mother. Apparently Crystal had gotten the names mixed up. She figured this was someone other then Ren.
"Hi." Crystal said with a slight smile.

"Crys, this is Isuzu, better known as Rin," Shigure explained. "One of my cousins. Comes around here sometimes," he chuckled.
Rin glowered.
"Maybe you wanted to come see Tohru-kun, Rin?"
"...No... I just had the weird feeling to come here..." Rin said quietly.
"Oh, and Rin, this is Crystal," Shigure said quickly.
"Has Akito found out yet?" Rin asked, onyx eyes looking up into Shigure's gray-brown ones.
"Actually, yes. He was just here."
Rin didn't seem to like this. She sort of stiffened, as if the thought Akito had been here made her uncomfortable. Or maybe even scared.
"He's not here anymore, Rin. Relax."
"You're lucky," Rin muttered, under her breath. She didn't know Crystal would easily catch it.

"You both are," Rin said simply, as if not wanting to explain.
"Mmm, there's another cousin Rin likes, but Akito won't allow them to be together," Shigure said.
Rin whirled. "I broke up with him. I don't want to be with him anymore!" Rin denied. Her eyes said something else though.
