Not What It Looks Like

[Akkii]

Shigure sighed. He'd been listening to Akito yell at him for over fifteen minutes.

"DA**IT, SHIGURE--" She went on, but was cut off as Shigure stood up and pulled her into an embrace to calm her down.

"Quiet, Akito. I know, you must be stressed," he pulled away a bit to look her in the eye. He cupped her face in his hands. She was just staring at him. Still looking irritated. But it was keeping her quiet. Good.
"With De--"

"Don't say the name," Akito hissed, going slightly red in the face.

"With him gone, then, it must be difficult," Shigure finished.

"How did you find out?"

"I know things. Now, why did you come here?"

Akito didn't answer, just glowered, and opened her mouth as if she were about to shout something at him. But she closed it as he ran his thumb across her cheek. He pulled her close again. Then he heard the door open, and pulled away immediately. None of the kids (Yuki/Kyo/Tohru) could see this.

((Time for Crystal to blow up at him. XD))

Crystal came through the door. She didn't feel so good right now. You could see large scratches running up and down her legs from the patrol she had just run and she had encountered a rather grumpy nomad.

Just in time to see Shigure run his hand across Akito's cheek. She looked rather confused at that moment. Her eye brows furrowed together. She had been back for MAYBE a month. A month! And he was already doing...
... this.
"Shigure?" She asked him softly, trying to keep her voice at a resonable level. But you could see the slight trembling as her body threatened to trandform at any moment. "What are you doing?!" She asked him, her dark brown eyes grew wide.

[Akkii]

"D**n," Shigure muttered under his breath. "Crys," he sounded completely calm when he said this to her. "I know what you're thinking, but it's not what it looks like. I'm just trying to calm her down," he explained. There was a rare few that knew the best way to calm Akito down. He was one of those few.

[Platinum]

"Didn't look like you were just 'calming her down'." She said, her voice growing cold. "Are you sure that was all you were doing?" She asked, although it was hypothetical. Her voice hand sarcasm in it, along with the slight iciness.

[Akkii]

"Of course I was merely calming her down," Shigure replied, smiling at Crystal.

Akito was clenching and unclenching her fists, unbelievably angry again and deliberating whether to lie and say Shigure was doing more than calming her down just to make him miserable, or to start yelling at Crystal to never come near Shigure again.

Why were women so obessed with getting close to her possessions?

Crystal looked at Shigure uneasly for a while. Like a stray dog trying to decide if a stranger is friendly. She wasn't sure if she could believe him or not. She glanced at Akito, then back at Shigure.
"Why is she even here, Shigure?" Quiestioned Crystal. He shouldn't be near her, at all.

[Akkii]

"She just walked in and basically blew up. I s'pose she'd been pretty stressed lately," Shigure said, still perfectly calm.

Akito, however, was losing her temper again. Without thinking, she suddenly started yelling at Crystal. "Never get near Shigure again! Don't touch him! Get out!"

Shigure sighed, chuckled and rolled his eyes slightly. He held up a finger for Crystal to wait and then turned to face Akito. "Akito-san," he began. "I know you are head of the Sohma family, but I don't believe you are head of this particular house. And you are certainly not in front of my dear Crystal-chan." He was still perfectly calm.

Akito, on the other hand, had her fists clenched so tightly out of anger that they were shaking. "Of course," she said sarcastically. "It's your 'dear Crystal-chan' now?" She spat. She wanted to hit Shigure, slap him, scratch him. She just wanted to hurt him. That's all she felt right now. But she knew it would be a mistake to do it with Crystal in the room. "Dear Crystal-chan," she scoffed. "You know, there was a time when it was 'my dear Aki'. Not anymore, eh?" Her pupils dilated a bit. A sign of just how terribly angry she was. She wasn't in a blind rage, yet. But she was no longer thinking about the werewolf in the room, and smacked Shigure, digging her nails in and scratching him.

"Ooowwww," Shigure complained, putting his hand to his face. "You know, Akito, it really hurts when you do that..."

[Platinum]

Crystal eyes narrowed. Her pupils had shrunk to little points of black in her eyes. She was upset.
She gritted her teeth.
"Shigure doesn't love you, Akito." She said sharply. She glared darkly when Akito slapped him, scratching his face.
She grabbed her hand and yanked it roughly away from him.
"Don't touch him again." She snarled. Her body trembling, threatening to explode on Akito at any moment.

[Akkii]

Fear flashed in Akito's eyes for a moment, but she immediately glared, trying to pull out of Crystal's strong grasp. "Get your hands off of me, b****!"

Shigure managed to pull the two apart. "Akito, that's enough," he said, eyes cold, though sounding and looking calm. "You need to head home. Want me to call Hatori to pick you up?"

"Hatori's out. So is Ayame. You'll have to call Kureno," Akito replied. She knew just how much Shigure disliked Kureno.

"Fine, fine," Shigure said, a sudden look of pure hatred in his eyes, though the look was obviously not directed at Akito, but at the suggestion of calling Kureno.

Shigure quickly picked up the phone, dialed, spoke to Kureno, who had obviously picked up, and then hung up very quickly. "He'll be here soon."

After a few minutes of silence, Kureno knocked.
"Come in," Shigure called. Why bother answering it? It was Kureno.

"You called for me to pick up Akito-san?" Kureno asked, looking a bit uncomfortable, being around Shigure.

"Yes. Why don't you stay for a while, prodigal l--" Shigure cut off.

"Please, Shigure, can we not do that right now?" Kureno asked.

"Why, of course, Kureno-sama," Shigure replied.

"I don't deserve such a title, Shigure-san," Kureno said, a bit exasperated.

"Why not, Kureno-sama?" He continued to say, almost tauntingly.

By now Kureno was clenching and unclenching his fists, keeping calm. He was very good at keeping his temper down. "I said, I don't deserve any such title."

((I thought I'd have Shigure be mean to Kureno. XD))

Crystal growled threateningly at Akito when she insulted her. She tightened her grip on Akito beofre Shigure pulled them away.

She continued to glare at him. her dark eyes looking stormy and wild. This had been stressfull, not giving her body very much time to heal.

She breathed in through her nose, then sighed when Shigure went to go call Kureno. She continued to glare at Akito from the other side of the room though, cursing silently under her breath in Quileute.
She glanced over at Kureno when he had entered the room. She had scented him in the Sohma Gardens before, but never seen him. She actually just leanred his name now. Shigure had never mentioned him before. Well, atleast not his name. He had told her about how Akito had slept with him.

She looked him up and down, memorizing what he looked like so she could explaing what he looked like to the pack.

[Akkii]

Akito was also glowering at Crystal.

"Kureno-sama," Shigure continued to use -sama to bug Kureno. Kureno opened his mouth as if he were about to say something, but Shigure said something instead. "Take Akito home."

Kureno sighed, knowing he couldn't win with Shigure. He walked over to Akito. "Akito-san, come on. We have to head back to the Main House." He wrapped her arm around her waist so it was easier to pull her away from glaring at Crystal.

She went almost willingly, but she looked over her shoulder, still glaring at Crystal, but Kureno walked her out of the house.

"I'd bet right outside that door, Kureno's trying to calm her down now. He doesn't know you know, which is why he didn't do it in here," Shigure chuckled coldly, smiling, but glaring at the door. It was terribly obvious that he had a strong hatred for Kureno.

Crystal glare had eased up after Akito left, but she still loked upset. She walked over to Shigure.
"No one has told him?" She asked Shigure. Well, Shigure and Akito were probably the only ones that knew she knew. Besides the pack, of course.
She didn't wait for Shigure's ansewer. She looked up at his hate-filled face. Then glanced back at the door.
"Why do you still hate him?" She asked him.

[Akkii]

"Heh. I don't know. I'm childish, I suppose. I'm like one of those young children, that after I get something, I don't want to let go. In a way, if feels like I've lost to Kureno, and I hate that. So you could only imagine how I'd react if he'd done something like that with you, then." Shigure smirked a bit, and his eyes were relaxing, and his tone wasn't cold any longer. He cupped her face in one hand and tilted it up and then gave her a peck on the lips.

[Platinum]

Crystal smiled a bit after Shigure had kissed her.
"I guess I'm the same way... always getting upset when I see you around Akito." She said, looking up at him.

[Akkii]

"I'll always love you more than her," Shigure promised Crystal. "I really was just calming Akito down, if you need any more reassurance."

[Platinum]

Crystal let out a small laugh. "I believe you, Shigure." She told him, "I don't need any more reassurance." She said to Shigure.

[Akkii]

"Thaaat's good," Shigure said with a chuckle. He gave her another peck on the lips. "It's interesting, when you aggravate certain women," he chuckled, meaning whenever he made Akito mad. You could tell he saw her almost as an object of teasing now.

[Platinum]

She grinned widely.
"Hm, really? That slap looked more painful then interesting." She said with a teasing smirk.

[Akkii]

"Fun can have consequences," Shigure replied. He wiped his hand on his cheek. "Still bleeding. Maybe I'll have Haa-san fix it up. Akito's done this to Tohru, too, I believe. And punched Momiji-kun."

[Platinum]

Crystal grimaced. "Sounds like your not the only person that annoys her." She said to her.
