Tohru was sitting outside on the porch, holding a red baseball cap in her hand. She was enjoying the sunshine that day, but it was rather windy. Suddenly a rather sudden gust of wind blew, and she accidentally let go of the hat. "Oh no!" She stood up to run after it.
((=death= Short post. xP Ember can come and get it and ask Tohru why the hat's so important. ^^))

Ember had been walking to the house, she caught the hat as it blew by, and saw that Tohru had been trying to catch it.
"Here." She almost timidly handed the hat to Tohru.

Tohru grinned and took the hat. "Thank you!" She said, bowing slightly. "I don't know what I would have done if I'd lost it!"

Ember grinned a bit. She noticed the smell of the hat. It was old, faded, and some of Tohru's scent had rubbed off on it, but she could definatley smell that both Kyo and Yuki had been in possession of this hat at on time in their lives.
"Why is it so important?" Asked Ember.

Tohru grinned. "Oh, well, when I was little, some boys had been chasing me and I got lost. But then a boy, with this hat, came. He saw me, and led me back home. He gave me this hat. I don't know who it was, but it was almost like he was a good prince, coming to help me in my time of need," She said. "In a way, it's almost like he was my first love," She giggled, holding the hat close to her.

Ember smiled a bit.
"That was kind of him." Ember commented, now walking inside with Tohru.

Tohru walked in with Ember. "Anyway, thank you so much for getting it for me!"
Yuki and Kyo, who were in the living room, glanced over at Tohru.
Yuki smiled a smile that would be unnoticable to Tohru, maybe noticed by Ember, when he saw the hat.
Kyo didn't smile, but he stared at the hat out of the corner of his eye.

"Your welcome, Tohru." Ember said with a slight smile. Ember went to go stand next to Yuki.

"Well, I think I'm going to go grocerie(sp?) shopping," Tohru said with a smile, setting the hat down on the coffee table.
"I'll come," Kyo volunteered.
"Really? Thank you, Kyo-kun!" Tohru said brightly, beaming.
"Eh... no problem."
The two walked out.
Yuki picked up the hat to look at it. The color had faded a bit. He couldn't believe Tohru still had it.

Yuki smiled. "Yeah. But... it wasn't rightfully mine, I guess. It was Kyo's first. The wind blew it off his head, and I found it. I wanted to give it back to him, but he refused," he shrugged.

She nodded. "So that's why it also smells like Kyo... were you the one who gave it to Tohru?" She asked.

"Part of me thought she'd forget," Yuki said with a smile. He was still holding the hat. "And I'm really surprised she kept the hat. It's too small to be worn now..."

Yuki blushed. He had actually told her he'd loved her one time. In the summer of 2007. He wouldn't tell Ember that though....
"Really? She said that?"
