She looked around the building really quick. She was a bit scared of ally ways.
She looked around the corners of buildings and behind them, still rubbing her arms.
"I don't think she's here..." Tohru said.

Soon they arrived at the Runaway Shelter. Kyo knocked at the door.
Miki answered the door, because Jaylinn was off running errands.
"Uh, hey..." Kyo said. "We're looking for a friend of ours. Her name's Shade. Do know if she's here?"
Miki's eyes widened a bit, and she looked to the brown haired girl. Hey, wasn't that who she'd seen at the beauty shop?
((Tohru should recognize Miki. lol))

Tohru looked at the girl, she leaned over, stood on her tip-toes, and whispered into Kyo's ear.
"I was her with Shade!" She said, then had to balance herself against Kyo's should to keep from slipping on the ice.
shade watched from two rooms away, there wasn't a door between the kitchen and the main room, so it was a good hide-out.

"Ummm..." Miki said nervously. "You stay outside," She pointed to Kyo. "You come in..." She said to Tohru.
"Wha?!" Kyo said angrily, but made himself calm down. "Fine, fine..." He grumbled. "Tohru, just yell if you need me, okay?"

Shade quickly turned around so that Tohru would only see the back of her head. She looked different from behind now because of the dye.
"O-okay. Why can't Kyo come in?" She asked, confused.

Miki gently pulled Tohru in and then shut the door. "Because I don't know if he's Shade's friend, and I want to keep her safe," She said. "Why do you want to see her?"

"Oh. But he is! We want to see her because were worried!" Tohru said.
Shade used this moment to slip out of the back door.

"I'll go see if she wants to see anybody right now," Miki said. "Stay here."
She ran off, taking a different way to the back, so Tohru wouldn't suspect the girl who went out the back door was Shade.
Miki saw Shade out back. "Do you want to see your friend, Shade?" She asked quietly.

"I would..." Miki paused. "I'd see my friends. But I'd ask them not to let anybody else know that they'd found me yet. The girl seems really scared for you. Do you want do you want me to let the guy with the weird hair color in too?" Xhd asked.

"Is it orange? If it's orange then yes! That's Kyo Sohma!" She laughed.
Then with a sigh, her laughter ended. "I guess I should see them..." She said.

She nodded and walked back inside then up to her room. The two little boys were fighting again and Shade threated to send them to their rooms if they didn't stop.
She walked in and shut the door. She picked up her still not completely put together cell ohone and twirled it in her hands.

Miki walked to the door. "Shade says she'll see you guys," She said quietly, opening the door to let Kyo in.
"Oh, now I can come in?" He said. He hated snow...
"Yeah." She led them to hers and Shade's room. "Here's the room," She said, then walked away.
"Good kid..." Kyo murmered, knocking on Shade's door. "Yo! Can we come in, Shade?"
