Zee grimaced. "The other. The werewolves." Zee said. "Not the changelings. Vampires often call them, 'children of the moon'. But you are so young that I doubt you have even heard of them." Zee said, not meaning to insult.

"I must admit I haven't. But... I'm not going to let anyone harm Shade!" Hatori said, punctuating the sentence with an angry snarl. He hadn't exactly meant to do that, and obviously the snarl wasn't directed at Zee. Hopefully Zee realized that, because Hatori wasn't in the mood to apologize right now, while he was trying to keep his stepdaughter down.

Zee murmured something under his breath along the lines of, 'They all say that'.
Shade snapped her jaws at Zee. Zee held her head down to the ground, but she continued to try and bite the two.
Zee looked up at the sky, the moon steadily sinking into the darkness now. It was be sunrise soon. That was god, but then he would have to inform Adam...
He tossed his cell phone to the boy sitting on the steps to the house. He told Tadao a phone number.
"Dail it. Ask for Mercedes. Tell her the directions to your house and tell her to tell Adam." Zee said quickly to Tadao. He was distracted from telling Tadao this so he had struggled to keep SHade down. Once his attention had returned to her, he slammed her head a bit to roughly against the groujnd. He wondered if Hatori would care, but then decided he really didn't care what Hatori thought about him. He was keeping her from slaughtering everyone, wasn't he?

Fury flared up in Hatori for an instant, but then he relaxed. Shade wasn't injured, Zee was just keeping her from doing harm to anyone. Good.
"She will remember us when she changes back to human, correct?" Hatori asked. "Or will she not remember anything at all?"
Tadao caught the cell phone, dialed the number, and waited for someone to answer.

"It's freaking three in the morning, Zee. I need to to sleep." Came a female complain on the other side on the phone line. She must have looked at her caller i.d. to know it was Zee's phone.
"Yes. She'll remember everything. But she'll be tired." Zee said to him.

"Ehh, this is not Zee. Um, Zee told me to call this number. Am I speaking to Mercedes?" Tadao asked, voice rushed to the point where his words nearly slurred together.

"Ummm, fighting a werewolf. So, yeah." Tadao said, still speaking quickly. Then he told her the way to get to his house. "Tell it to Adam." Whoever that is, he added to himself.

Mercy hung up instantly.
A few minutes passed. Shade continued to struggle, and Zee had to restrain the wolf girl. She slashed her claws in the air, trying to hit Zee since she was closer to her front limps.
Shade froze when something else stepped out of the shadows.
Another large, midnight black wolf stepped out. It's yellow eyes scanned over Shade.
And Shade stopped struggling. She had submissed.
This other wolf, was Adam.

Hatori got slightly in front of Shade, protectively.
"That wolf's not going to kill Shade, is it?" Hatori asked Zee, without looking at the fae.

Zee shook his head.
"Nien. That's Adam. She belongs to him now, he's the alpha." Zee said quickly, pinning Shade down again.
Adam looked at Hatori for a moment, his eyes seeming to... size Hatori up. Then he padded over to Shade. She swipped at him, but Adam was quick. Be dodged the blow, then growled at her. It was a warning.
Shade didn't look to happy about it, but she didn't strike at him again.

Hatori very warily got out of the way of Adam. If he dared to hurt Shade, though, there would be consequences. Usually, Hatori had better control than this. Stupid vampire instincts...

Adam gave Zee and Hatori an almost stern look. Zee let go of Shade, then told Hatori to follow his example.
"Let go." Zee told Hatori.

Hatori too let go. He still watched Adam.
Tadao rose again, and for now just held onto Zee's phone. Probably wasn't the best time to give it back.

Adam gently touched the edge of Shade's mind with his own mind. At first, she tried to throw up barriers against him, an instinct. But soon she let him inside of her mind, and he got her to calm down.
Shade got up, limping slightly. But after getting up, she got down at crawled over to Adam on her stomach, whimpering slightly.

A glowing red orb started to rise out from the tops of the trees very slowly, the sky became a dark violet color with small, pink clouds.
Dawn.
The wolf noises slowly faded into human ones as the two painfully transformed. Adam had trotted off before he transformed completely naked infront of people he didn't know.
Shade crouched over her naked body. She wasn't in... pain.... anymore. It was all gone. All the pain was gone.
Zee had respectfully turned around so he wasn't facing Shade.

Hatori did the same, while Tadao ran on into the house to get her clothes. He came back quickly, and gave them to her, looking only at her face and nothing else, then turning so she could get dressed.
