Shikamaru sat on the end of the porch. He ran his hand through short black hair, a yawn on his face. He closed his eyes and looked toward the sun, taking in the sunshine. He had a sweet smile on his young face. His ears twitched as he heard someone approach. He turned his head, his dark brown eyes focused on someone. "Hello?" he questioned, adjusting to the bright sun.

Momiji had been skipping to the porch. "Hi Shikamaru!" He said happily. He sat down beside his friend, running his hand through his hair to get his bangs out of his eyes.

"Hey Momiji!" Shikamaru smiled at the older boy. His dark round eyes focused in on Momiji, a silly grin on his face. He stood up and hugged his friend. "What are you doing out here?" he questioned, tilting his head slightly. For a while he thought he was the only one around, obviously being wrong. He resisted the odd urge to lick Momiji.

"Oh, I was out visiting Tohru for a while. Have you met her yet? I just got back. It's so much funk visiting her!" He grinned, his cheeks turning red from his large smile.

"Tohru?" he questioned, his eyes filled with curiousity. "I haven't met her yet." Shikamaru grinned. He loved meeting new people! "Mind introducing me to her?" he asked.

He nodded eagerly. "Kyo actually likes someone." his eyes grew wide and he pretended to drop his jaw. "No way." he spoke trying so hard not to bust out laughing. "I guess I shall have to stop by and meet this Tohru girl." he smiled. "Wanna come?"
