Shade looked as if she were about to say something, then decided against it.
"She told me once...that my father haunted her. Everything that she touched in our house, she saw my father reflected in. She couldn't get him to leave." She said.
"One day, she locked herself in her room, turned out the lights and closed the curtains, I could hear her crying...I was only ten at the time..." She looked down a the floor.
"Since she met you, I don't think Father haunts her anymore." She said quietly, looking back up. the story sounded as if she were giving Hatori approval or forgivness of some sort, but it was hard to tell.

Hatori nodded. "So, this means you forgive me?" He asked, hopeful. He wasn't sure how to reply to Shade's small story about her mother. But he showed understanding in his eyes, so she wouldn't think he had completely discarded what she had just said.

"I do." She said. "I think that mom is happier with you." She said. She hated admitting it, but it was true. Kira was happier with Hatori, and Hatori looked happier as well. He actually smiled now.

She burhsed some of her hair behind her ear and she recalled another dreaded memory of her mother after her father died. Kira had gone to her room with black paint the day after Lee had died, and painted over the walls, crying at the same time. Shade had watched her. Since then, Kira painted the walls a different color every year, it was like she was reliving the moment of Lee's death on that day. ANd she always cried while painting the walls...

Shade forced the memories out of her mind, but they kept coming back. her mother was alone, scared, and she probably felt as if she had been abondanded. That's when her sickness got worse..

She remembered her mother, curled up on her bed, hating herself...
"She's much happier with you." Shade said, almost to herself.

[Akkii]

Hatori smiled a bit at her. "Thanks. So much," He said sincerely. "Your mother makes me very happy. But... we won't be kissing like that again for a while," He promised. "I know you're probably very uncomfortable about the whole thing. I'm... sorry about," He said.

[Platinum]

Shade laughed her bell-like laugh.
"Stop saying sorry, Hatori. I said I forgave you." She said to him.

Hatori just smiled. "Okay," He said.

((Okay, I was thinking Akito gets kinda mad because she just found out about Hatori and Kira's relationship through Tadao, because he accidently lets it slip. And then Hatori and Kira try to talk to Akito about it, but Akito gets mad, gets blinded by rage, and stabs Kira. Shade blames Hatori, and Kira blames herself. Then Akito finds out and Tadao and Shade and gets upset again, and throws something at Tadao, which makes him hurt, and Shade blames herself, and Tadao blames himself and it's just once big circle of hating them selves.))

Shade smiled at him, then told him that she was going to see what Tohru was doing in the kitchen.

"Okay," Hatori said.

Tohru was warming up the tea; it had gotten cold. Now she was pouring the hot tea into cups.

[Platinum]

((Yersh, Of course. I would cry If I had to kill Kira again...))

"Thanks, Tohru." Shade said. THis was the second time Shade had thanken Tohru.

[Akkii]

"No problem! It's just tea! Want some sugar in it? Or honey?" Tohru asked.

[Platinum]

"A little bit of sugar, please." She said.

[Akkii]

"Okay!" Tohru sprinkled some sugar in. "Shade-san, would you mind asking Hatori if he wants anything in his tea?" She asked.

[Platinum]

"Sure." Shade shrugged, she walked back out to Hatori.
"Tohru wants to know what you want in your tea." She said blankly. She sounded a bit like her cousin, Kiyoshi. Not that Hatori knew Kiyoshi.

[Akkii]

"Just a little bit of honey," Hatori replied with a small smile.

[Platinum]

Shade went back to tell Tohru what Hatori wanted.

((How about we skip all this and now we go to Kira-san's house?))

Now they walked to Shade's and Kira's house, Shade leading the way.

[Platinum]

Shade was just about to pull out her spare key to unlock the door, but saw that it wasn't nessicary(sp?). She opened the soor silently, then stepped inside.
Her mom loked up from her place on the couch. HEr eyes turned bright and she smiled when she saw her daughter.

Shade smiled back.
"I was worried about you." Her mother scolded Shade.

Tohru smiled as she watched mother and daughter talk.
