Her lip trembled.
"I can't believe he would so something like that! She's my mother!" Shade said a bit to loudly. "They're both being idiots! I-I can't believe..." Tears shone in her eyes again. "..that she'd forget me! She forgot me!" All of a sudden, Shade became insecure. She didn't want here mom to forget about her father and her brothers, she didn't want her mom to forget her. Her mom loved her...right?

Shade suddenly felt childish.
"My mom...and Hatori...I caught them kissing." Shade looked upset again. "She's forgotten my family...she's forgotten her family! She's going to forget me next..." Shade's voice got softer. She bit her lip to keep from crying. "I don't want her to forget me..." She said.
