Akito nodded and walked with Devon toward the pond. The sound of a violin playing a melancholy tune wafted to them. Akito hid the necklace with her coat. It was no doubt Momiji playing the violin. After they got closer, Akito saw him sitting on one of the stone benches by the pond. He looked upset. She wondered if she shouldn't go to the pond with Devon after all. It may be kind of awkward for her, to walk over there in the middle of the song.

Momiji drew the song to a close. He had a bag of fish food with him. He picked up a stick and was hitting the pond that was frozen over. Turns out it wasn't a very thick layer of ice. Akito heard the ice crack. Mojiji had apparently broken the ice. He took the fish food and sprinkled some into the water.
He turned to the direction where Akito and Devon were. "Oh! Hi Akito-san, Devon-san!" He said.

"Did you hear my song?" Momiji asked, grinning. He picked up his violin. "I'll play another one if you want. A Christmas one, even!"

Momiji beamed. "Want me to play another one? Give me the name of a song and I'll see if I know it!"
Akito smirked. She'd let Devon pick the song. She wondered what he'd pick. Twelve days of Christmas... What Child is This... Silent Night...? But there were also many others.

Momiji grinned. "Sure!" He started playing the song. It was cheerful, despite the fact it was slow.
Akito was pleased. Had Momiji always been this good...?

Devon smiled at Moiji's skills. He wondered how long it had taken Momiji to get this good. He thought that Edward and Momiji together could prbably produce a song good enough to make people cry.

Akito smiled a bit at the end of Momiji's song. She clapped, not hard enough to make sound though. Just sort of patted her hands together a few times, but obviously clapping.
"Impressive," She said quietly.
Momiji bowed. "Thank you, Akito-san!"

A bird fluttered around where they were, slowly inching closer to Akito. Birds obviously liked Akito.
