((I know, weird title. XD Maybe Dev-kun can give her a present in this one. XD))
Akito laid on the couch. It was warm in the living room. She had the lights dimmed a bit. She was covered in a red cashmere blanket with black trim. Kureno had given it to her, an early Christmas gift. It was so soft.
Akito was propped up on a few pillows, reading the 'Why Be Catholic?' book. Ah, it was so nice in here.
A knock at the door.
"Come in," Akito called.

Devon opened thee door and silently walked in.
He smiled at her, a small box was held in his hand. He smiled at Akito.

Akito sat up a bit more, and set the book down on the floor, open. She was in the middle of the rather large book.
"Hi, Devon," She said, smiling. "What do you have?" She asked curiously, looking at the small box.

Devon handed the present to her.
"Open it." He told her. he had given her a small silver necklace, with a delicate looking heart dangling from the chain. The heart had a small diamond on the curve of the heart. He hoped Akito would like it. Alice had helped him pick it out. He regretted it, though, she made him buy something rather expensive.

Akito smiled, her eyes lit up a bit. She held the box in her hands for a bit. It was so beautifully wrapped! She carefully pulled the paper off, then opened the box. She gasped.
"Oh... wow... It's beautiful, Devon!" She said quietly, pulling the amazingly gorgeous necklace out of the box gently. It seemed so delicate...

Akito smiled at him. "I really do love it. And... if I were able to, I'd wear it every day," She said. She dangled it in front of her. The diamond on the heart was making tiny rainbows in the slightly dimmed light.

"I'll still wear it any time I can," Akito said. "I really do like it. The silver... it's real too, isn't it...?" She asked, gazing at the heart. She unclipped the ends and tried to put it on.
"Nngh, I need help. I've never put one on before," She blushed a bit.

Akito smiled. "Thank you," She said. She fingered the heart, still smiling.
"I've been feeling really good today. And I want to go out to the garden with you. I'll change into warmer clothes if you want me to before we go out..." She said.
She just had to show Devon the garden. The decorating had been finished yesterday. There were Christmas lights around almost every tree, along with other decorations. It got decorated every year, but this would be the first time Devon would see it...

"I'll go see the gareden with you, but only after you put of warmer clothes." He smiled at her getting up then offering his hand to help Akito up if she needed it.

Akito got up on her own easily. She went to her bed room and changed. She came back a few minutes later. She was wearing pants, a long sleeve shirt, but you couldn't see what she was wearing very well because she had a long coat that covered her shirt, and most of her pants. She had some snow boots on too.
"I rarely wear this," She said. "Well, at least it's not one of those big bulky coats, huh?"
