((I thought it would be funny if Shade was with Hatori and Ayame and Shigure dropped in for a visit too XD))
Shade looked up at the tall, impressive building. It seemed to glare down on her. She ignored the eerie feeling she got from it and walkeed throught the open, cast-iron gate, and into the main house.
It was dark inside, there were no light on in the halls, but there lights on in the surrounding rooms, but the doors were closed. She walked down the halls, and up some stairs to Hatori's room. I quietly knocked on the door.
"Hatori?" I called quietly, but my voice seemed too loud in the quiet house.

Hatori came to the door. He looked kind of tired. His black hair was a little messy and there were a few bags under his eyes. But his face got a little livelier when he saw Shade. "Come in, Shade." He said quietly, a friendly tone in his voice.

Shade smiled and stepped in.
"Thanks." She said with a small grin.
"You look half dead, Hatori." She teased in a good-natured manner while stepping in.
((Ha ha. Get it? Half Dead....she's part vampire....vampires are dead ............ never mind. XD))

Hatori chuckled slightly. "Yes. The weather's getting colder, which means more sickness, and not just with Akito." He sighed. "But anyway, how are you?"

"Good. Speaking of, I want to take a look at tha--" Hatori was cut off by a knocking at the door.
"Ha'ri!!" A sing-song voice came. And then another. " 'Tori, can we come in?"
Hatori groaned. "Fine, come in Ayame, Shigure." He rolled his eyes.
In came a man with trailing white hair that went below his waist. Then another came in with shorter slightly curly smokey black hair.
"Ooh! Who's the girl with you?" The black haired man asked.
Hatori was itching to slap Shigure. Not hard, just enough to make him less perverted for a moment. "Her name's Shade, Shigure. This is the girl I told you about, you know, the one I hit?"
"You're so cruel, Hatori!" The white haired man said jokingly.
"Ugh, be quiet Ayame..."

Shade was slightly surprised at the intrusion of the older men. SHe did what she had learned to do when in the precence of older men. Stay quiet.

Hatori sighed and turned to Shade. "I'm sorry, Shigure and Ayame are the idiots I call my friends. Ayame here is Yuki's older brother, Shigure's Yuki's guardian. I feel sorry for him." He shook his head.
"Hey!" Ayame and Shigure said at the same time. Hatori chuckled slightly. Yes, those two were idiots, be they were his friends.
"I'm going to make some tea!" Ayame said.
Hatori couldn't help but smile a little at that. Ayame's tea was the best tea he'd ever tasted. "I know your rule about only making tea for me, Shigure and Akito, but will you make some for Shade as well?"
Ayame thought it over. "Okay," He said. "But only this once."
Shigure grinned. "I'll help you, Aya!"
((Shade should ask if Aya and Gure know about Akito's real gender. LOL And then she's like, uber surprised when she finds out that Aki and Gure were sweethearts.))

Shade chuckled at Ayame's and Shigure's reaction.
She turned to Hatori after they had left.
"Hatori-san," She began, "do they know about Akito's real gender?" She asked quietly.

Hatori nodded. "Yes, the three of us know. Shigure and Akito were actually lovers at one point. A couple years ago they... broke up, I guess you could say."

Hatori guessed what she was thinking. "Of course, they couldn't 'go out' so to speak, because of Akito's secret, but they did love eachother." He didn't mention the age difference, and when Akito fell in love with Shigure.

Shigure walked out of the kitchen. He had secretly been listening.
"So, she knows, huh?" He asked, smirking.
"It's not polite to eavsedrop (i know i spelled that wrong), Shigure," Hatori scolded. "But yes, she knows."
Shigure smiled. "Mm, yes, we were in love... You know, I was fifteen when that little girl fell in love with me. She was eight at the time."
Hatori glared. "I wanted to leave that out!" He hissed.
"Oh, whatever." Shigure chuckled. "Nobody's gonna tell Akito, right?"
"Tell Akito what?" Somebody asked. Akito threw the door open and walked in. She'd only heard the last sentence, but it wasn't long until she changed the subject.
"Oh, hello /dog/." She snapped at Shigure.
Shigure didn't seem to mind. He just burst out laughing. "Hanging out with them much, haven't you?" But 'them' he had meant the vampires.
"Maybe. I've learned the rightful name for people like you, too," She said. Then she whipped around to Hatori. "And you! I told you that Shade wasn't allowed here!"
Hatori merely sighed. "I'm sorry, Akito. I wanted to check on her side, actually." He confessed, even though Shade was the one who had come here.
Akito glared at him. Hatori considered himself lucky that she wasn't in a blind rage. She looked a little feverish and she relaxed a bit.
"Akito, back to your room. You need to lie down." He walked over to Akito and they argued quietly for a moment, and somehow Hatori won.
He grimaced. "Sorry about that Shade."
((Sorry, I wanted Aki to burst in.))

Shade remained quiet as Akito burst in. She remember their last incounter, and also concidered herself lucky.

Hatori frowned and his worry increased. He sighed. The poor girl. Her father was able to live to at least thirty or forty. This wasn't fair.
