Kohana climbed into his car, amazed at first that her face wasn't tearstreaked at all until she remembered that vampires couldn't shed tears.
"I tried to kill my own cousin..." She whispered to herself.

"It will get better, right?" Kohana asked nervously. Being hungry wasn't helping her at all... She'd have to go hunting today. Maybe Devon would take her.
((I was thinking that Carlisle and Devon should claim to be brothers, since their both blond. And Kohana's like... Carlisle's neice or something, and Devon's adopted daughter. ^^ lol))

Soon they were back at the house. Kohana climbed out. "Will you take me hunting, Devon?" She asked. "Maybe Alice and Jasper could come too..."

He nodded. "Of course, Kohana." He said. He led her inside to tell the others they were going hunting. Jasper volenteered to go, Devon didn't have to tell him that Kohana wanted to go.
And where ever Jasper went...Alice was sure to follow...

"I'll go hunting too." Alice said, quickly after Jasper volunteered.
Hunting was one of Kohana's favorite things to do, because she got to run.
"Do you think David will want to come too?" Kohana suddenly asked Alice, her voice eager. She was starting to cheer up a little.
Alice laughed a little. "Why don't you go ask him?"

David walked down staris at that moment. He had heard the whole conversation and grinned at Kohana.
"I'll go." He said happily.

Kohana grinned back.
"Well, let's get going." Alice said cheerfully, bounding to the door and throwing it open without a sound. Kohana ran as well, ahead of everyone, using her strength to make her go farther.

Kohana stopped for a moment to face Devon, Jasper, Alice and David. "Hey guys, how about we all race!"
"You'll win!" Alice laughed.
"So? It's still fun!"

"Hey, no fair! You got a headstart!" Kohana laughed and pushed herself forward, easily catching up to David. Even without her strength she'd be very fast. Not as fast as Edward though. He was the only one she couldn't beat in a race.

Kohana passed him and then vanished. She turned invisible, using her power to confuse him. Alice caught up. "Hmm... where's Kohana?" She laughed, knowing that Kohana was invisible.
