"No I wouldn't. I'd suck animal blood. How would that make me a monster?" Akito sounded rather angry herself now. What was making Devon so mad?

Anger was taking over. "You're NOT a monster, Devon!" Akito told him. "You've never hurt anybody because you wanted to, am I right? You had no idea that you could suck animal blood, right?" Her voice came out in a hiss.

"We're still monsters, Akito! Nothing we do will change that fact! It's like a murderer who's been put in jail, then released, he may not kill again after he's out of jail, but being a monster is what got him i there in the first place, and nothing will change that!' He explained, anger rising.

"There's no way I could ever see you as a monster, Devon. Quit calling yourself one. As far as I'm concerned, the only Cullen I think is a monster would be that Ember girl, and it's not even for the reason that she's a vampire." Akito hissed.

"Don't you know that I don't /care/ if you've killed people?!" Akito asked in an angry whisper. She was getting dangerously close to flying into a rage and was amazed that she could keep herself from screaming at him.

Akito wasn't scared. All that she could feel right now was pure fury. "I highly doubt you'd be able to hurt me!" She was shaking angrily, almost like a werewolf would, but she was just that angry. She fought the urge to hurl herself at him, despite the fact that she knew he wouldn't get hurt.

Akito couldn't think straight. Not when she was this angry. She was blinded by her anger as she rushed toward him. Somehow as she was running she managed to grab the vase off of the table next to the couch. She spilled it's contents on the floor and hurled herself at Devon. The vase smashed into his arm as she crashed against his chest and stumbled back, dazed. She hadn't been thinking at all. Her side ached where she'd run into him now.

Devon watched as the vase collided with his arm, then Akito into his cheast. He didn't sway. Devonhelped balance her so she wouldn't fall over.
