Akito caught the hint of anger in Devon's voice and opened the door. "Is something wrong, Devon-kun?" She asked as she let him in.

Devon grabbed Akito's hands and looked them over.
"They're stained with blood, Akito. Blood." He said, looking at her hands and then at her.

Akito wasn't sure what to say. Her sharp tongue she had gotten from her mother was failing her. Or maybe it was just because it was Devon. Though she wasn't sure what to say, anger flared in her eyes.

The anger flared even more. She finally answered. "Because the bond that connects me to my family was hurting the one bond that connected her and I was tightening around me! She was drifting to far away from me! From the Sohma family! It's painfull for me! I bear the pain of the core of this curse so they don't have to suffer, and the way that girl thanks me is by causing more pain for me!" Akito yelled. Devon was making her angrier... making her want to gouge somebody's eyes out...
((Akito's threatened to do that to Haru once... xD))

"Maybe she'll have learned her lesson..." Akito trailed off and she froze in place. She looked as if she were in pain.

Akito began to calm down a little. But she was still going through that agonizing pain. You could tell from her eyes.

"It'll be okay. The pain will soon go away...won't it?" he asked.

"Yes. For the most part anyway." Akito said. The pain was already leaving, although some of it would be left behind and she'd feel it, but soon get used to it.

Akito, still being hugged by Devon, was now almost perfectly relaxed. She laid her head against his chest.
((He needs to leave or something. Maybe he gets hungry? LOL I want the plot to start! He should say that he may be back later tonight and comes back to find she's not there... though he doesn't get the idea that Aki's in that certain room until three days later. LOLz))

A growl rose from Devon throat and he quickly pushed Akito away. His eyes were dark. Not black yet, but almost. He was still unstable around people when he got this way.
"I'm sorry, Akito. I'm not safe to be around at this time. I'm hungry. I don't want to hurt you." He placed his hand on the side of her face gently and stroked her cheek. He pulled away quickly away again and left.
