Yet another fever swept through Akito's body and he shivered. He was getting the chills. He pulled the covers over him more tightly. "Kureno! Turn up the heat!" He called. Soon the heat was up higher, but it wasn't helping the chills much.
With the next fever that swept through him, a headache followed. He picked up the phone and called one of the maids. "Bring me an asprin." Akito groaned. In about fifteen minutes a nurse was bringing up a bottle of asprins and a glass of water. Akito took one asprin and swallowed it with some water.
He tried to sleep after that and just as he was dozing a knock sounded on the door. "Enter..." Akito said hoarsly.

Devon slowly walke din. His red eyes scanned everything. It loked cozy. But it was extremly warm. He ran a hand through his dirty blonde hair nervously. The others said Akito would be an easy catch for him. But he was still scared. he didn't want to hurt another person...
"Hello." He called softly, his voice was like silk.

Devon thought of something quick. "I just heard so people taking about you...saying only good things, of course." He said, His dark red eyes scanned the room again.

"Hmph, that's surprising." Akito muttered under his breath.
"And so you wished to speak with me?" Akito said. "I suppose you... heard that I needed a companion." He suggested, since Devon didn't seem to know what to say. Then he paused.
"Well, I'm no charity case." He snapped at last.

Devon looked at Akito, his eyes rose to a blood red color for a moment with a ruby ring around the pupils, but they faded back to mahogany.
"I was hoping...if I could be your friend? Your the first person I've truely talked to that's outside of my family." He said, running a marble hand through his dirty blonde hair.

"All right then." Akito pressed a button.
"Yes." Akito said to someone on the other line.
"Yes, bring up some soup... some hot tea, too."
"Eggflower."
"All right."
Akito hung up.
In about 20 minutes a maid had knocked on the door and handed her a tray with eggflower soup and a kettle of hot tea with a glass on the tray.
