Kira's eyes opened suddenly. She pushed herself up in the bed, it was still dark ouside. A small gap in the curtains allowed the moon to shine through, making the room glow a silver color. She glanced at the clock. Two A.M. Why was she up so early. She put her head in her hands. Ugh, she felt terrible.
She glanced down at the sleeping Hatori. His hair was slightly messed up, as he slept peacefully.
Kira's eyes grew wide, and she felt like she was going to vomit. She quickly got out of bed and didn't even bother to put on a robe, she just rushed as quickly to the bathroom as she could, still in her pajama's.
She pulled her hair away from her face and vomitted. After she was done, she washed out her mouth and groaned. This had been going on for a while.
She closed her eyes. This had been going on for a while She sighed. She'd have to tell Hatori sometime, he'll find out later, anyways...
Hatori wasn't awake... yet. He'd been rather tired from work and such. She opened her eyes again. She felt terrible.
She'd tell him in the morning what she suspected. For now, she was going to go back to bed. She flushed the toilet and drank some water, then slowly made her way back to bed, very tired.
((Bleh. My brain died and I had no idea what to post >.<))

But this time Hatori had noticed Kira's absence and woken up. She'd gotten out of bed rather roughly, managing to wake him up. He wasn't the heaviest of sleepers. He looked at the doorway drowsily.
"Kira, what's the matter?" He asked, when he saw her enter.

"Nothin' I'm fine, Hatori." Kira mumbled in a sleepy voice. She stumbled while walking to the bed she managed to not fall. She blinked rapidly to get her eyes to stay open.

"That's not true," Hatori suggested. "What's going on, Kira? You've been missing a lot of sleep."

Kira looked up at him. Ooh, what would he say? Would he be happy? She didn't know. So she looked downn.
"Uhh... Hatori..." She paused, her gaze flickered back up to him, but then back down at her hands. "I'm not quite sure yet... but I think... I'm pregnant." She mumbled.

Hatori appeared to be dazed for a moment. But then he smiled a bit, and beamed (well, if you can call it a beam. But for Ha'ri, it's a beam. XD). "Really? We'll have to do some tests tomorrow, so I can figure out if I really am going to be a father." He chuckled quietly. Of course, he hadn't forgotten about Shade. But this would be his first real child. Not a step-child.

Kira blinked, but the smiled widely. "I'm so happy." Kira told Hatori, her pale green eyes glittering brightly. She was grinned. Hatori seemed pretty happy, which made her happy, too.

"Well, come now. Lay down. We should both get some rest," Hatori said. "And once we're sure you're pregnant, we'll tell Shade."

The rest of the night, they both slept pretty well. Hatori rose early, as always. Five thirty in the morning. Kira wasn't awake yet, but he just sat and watched over her, waiting for her to wake up.

Kira slept for a couple minutes after Hatori, untill her body notcied the abesence of his body. She stired, then slowly opened her eyes, seeing Hatori watching over her. She pushed herself up, then stood up out of the bed, her legs wobbled for a second, but then she was fine.
She smiled gently at him. "Good morning." She said softly to him.

Hatori was right next to her within a second or two. He wasn't a vampire, but he was still fast.
"Good morning," he murmered, giving her a peck on the lips. "Shall we... go do those tests now, to see if you are pregnant?"

Hatori smiled. "All right. Change into some clothes, in case anybody's walking the halls. I'll get things ready," he said, heading out of the room so Kira could change.

Kira nodded, then changed quickly. She also brushed her teeth. When she was ready, she stepped ou of the room.

Hatori was waiting in his office. When Kira finally entered, he smiled at her.
"All right, take a seat," he said. After she was seated, he did a couple tests.
Soon those tests were finished, and Hatori was smiling. "Congrats. You're pregnant. I've got a list of obstetricians on my laptop..."

Kira beamed. She restrained from jumping up and saying 'yay!'.
"I'm so happy! We're gonna have a baby, Hatori!" She told him excitedly.

"Yes," Hatori said with a smile. "Your second... or would this be your third?" He looked rather happy that he was going to be a real father.
