Tadao smiled, and you could tell he was smiling by how he spoke. "Love you too, Shade. Want to go to your place now? I'll carry you," he said, adding the last part teasingly.

Shade giggled a little bit, her arms still around Tadao's neck.
"Nah... I could get used to this." She said jokingly. She gently rubbed her nose against his playfully in an eskimo(sp?) kiss.

((You spelled eskimo right. ^^ Oh, and, here comes Aki, to ruin everything. Were we planning on her hurting Tadao's eye? XD))
Just then the door was opened slightly, and then it swung open, hitting the wall and almost boucning closed again. But Akito, who stood in the doorway looking infuriated, stopped it.
"I thought I made it clear you weren't wanted here," she hissed at Shade, then moved her eyes to Tadao, who was looking worried and had set Shade down upright and was now inching in front of her protectively. "And you promised me you'd stay by my side! You've betrayed me!"

Shade didn't know what to say.
"I'm sorry, Akito-san." She bowed slightly, although she didn't want too. "I'll leave right away." She said, preparing to turn around and leave. She didn't want Tadao hurt because of her.

"Don't leave just yet," Akito snapped. "If you were sorry, you wouldn't have come back in the first place."
"Please don't hurt her, Akito-sama," Tadao murmered, looking down and away from Akito.
Akito clenched her fists angrily, probably deliberating what to do, or trying to stop herself from doing something.
Tadao saw as Akito's pupils technically disappeared. A sign of just how angry she was right now. He took a wary step back.
But he hadn't known what would come next.
Glass collided with his eye. Searing pain. He fell to his knees, covering his eye with one hand. With his good eye he could see blood dripping onto the floor like scarlet rain. He gasped in the pain.
Akito was breathing hard, she was starting to calm down, only slightly though. Enough that she wasn't blinded by rage. She whirled to face Shade, mad with fury but not blinded. But she didn't say anything. Akito wasn't sure where her rage was directed now, but she just stood, glaring at Shade, then left the room angrily. You could hear her storming down the hall.

"Tadao!" Yelped Shade, she rushed over to him. "Tadao, Tadao, what do I do!?" She got down on her hands and knees, ignoring the glass cutting into her hands and knees. Her eyes were wide. She felt some blood drip down on her knees. The liquid was warm and it tricked down one sid eof her knee. She touched his face, getting more blood on her fingers. Her eyes till wide.
"Tadao!?" Shade was still freaking out. She didn't know what to do, she needed Tadao to tell her to do something. She felt stupid for just sitting there like an idiot.

"Call Hatori," Tadao grunted, pulling out a cell phone and handing it to her with his free hand. "I don't know how to treat this yet."

"Hatori?" She asked, her voice quivering a bit.

Hatori, as always, picked up on the first ring. "Yes, Shade? What is it?" The way her voice quivered... he knew there was something wrong.

"His eye." She said quickly, glancing back over at Tadao. "Akito hurt him with a vase." She said. She looked over at Tadao again, she was trying to control the shaking in her voice.

Myra had heard the crash and warily approached the area. She found Shade and Tadao in front of his house and approached looking worried. "What happened?' She asked. Well it was a natural question although she felt stupid asking it. "Er... I'm assuming that's Hatori on the phone." She added. Then she wondered if it been Akito who had done this. Considering Akito had been going through a lot it seemed Myra couldn't help but feel sympathy for her. But still she had injured Tadao badly it seemed. "It was Akito though wasn't it?" She asked looking from Tadao to Shade. "Where did... He go?" She had almost said she and was surprised considering she had actually said Akito was a she. just in her head.

"Sh-- He left," Tadao grunted through gritted teeth. He'd almost said she. Though, he didn't know that Myra knew. (Yes, he knows. Shade found out, and she felt Tadao should know and told him. XD)
"I'll be there in a moment," Hatori replied tersely, hanging up. A few minutes later he arrived at the scene. Blood was on the ground, Tadao still on his knees with his right eye covered. Hatori knelt down next to his younger brother without a word to anyone. He had his bag with him and was pulling out bandages, a wet washcloth and a matchbox.
"Okay, Tadao, I know this is going to hurt, but take your hand away from your eye," he instructed quietly.
Tadao nodded and took his hand from his eye. He flinched from the light. Hatori took the washcloth and dabbed very gently around Tadao's eye to clean the cuts.
"I'm taking Tadao back in the house. He has to be in a dark place for a bit. You girls can come too," Hatori said to them, standing up and walking Tadao-- who had stood up at the news that he had to go inside-- to the door. He quickly shut the blinds on the windows and turned off the light in the room they were in so it was dark as possible, and he lit a match and held it in front of Tadao's eye.
"Just keep looking at the light, Tadao," he said. He had the bandages in his other hand. He had an eye patch too. He covered Tadao's good eye with it, so Tadao could use his other eye to concentrate on the match. "I know it hurts, but it just might save your sight."

Myra thought about this before looking back down the porch(hallway whatever). She wondered slightly where Akito had gone. The girl took a deep breath in before walking back down the hall in the direction Akito went. When she stopped where she thought Akito was she didn't move. For a moment she wondered if she was crazy or something. Trying to find Akito after she had thrown a vase at someone. Surely Akito had gone to find Kureno or someone else.
