Yuki smiled and walked over to a wheelbarrow. "Just put what you pick in here. Would you pick the strawberries?" He asked, taking one glove, and then one set of gloves out of the wheelbarrow and walking back to the garden. He handed two gloves to Ember, and put the other one on his good hand and got down on his knees. He started picking some leek.

"I know you can't taste human food... but can you smell it?" Yuki asked, taking the leek he'd picked over to the wheelbarrow. He grabbed one of the handle's on the wheelbarrow and carefully pulled it over to the garden, so they wouldn't have to walk over and put what they'd picked in it every time.

"Hmmm... that stinks. So you can't smell the strawberries or anything." He said, yanking a weed out of the garden. He winced as he pulled it out and accidentally hit his bandaged arm against the wheelbarrow. He hoped Ember hadn't noticed. The last thing he wanted was for her to feel guilty.

Ember turned her head as she heard somthing bang against the wheelbarrow. Guilt overcame her again.

Yuki saw the look on Ember's face. "It's okay, Ember." Yuki said. "I would have gotten hurt anyway. It's not your fault that there was a weed in my garden."

"No. I'm just clumsy. Burned or not, it's not like it would have felt any better if I wasn't hurt. It's okay." Yuki said, smiling at her. He got up to leave. "C'mon, let's go back to the house. Dinner'll be done any time now and the last thing I need is for Honda-san to get lost looking for me." He chuckled to himself as he took her hand.
((In the next post Aya will be brought in. I can't let him find out about the garden.))

"I think it's supposed to be the other way around." Yuki joked. "But thanks." He laughed, but that cut off as he saw the flowing white hair of his brother. "Oh, hello, Nii-san." He turned to Ember. "C'mon, Em."
"But little brother, I have questions for your girlfriend."
"She doesn't want to answer your idiodic quiestions!" Yuki yelled angrily.

"It's fine, Yuki." She said softly, her voice wasn't crazy and harsh like last time they met, it was much calmer now.
Plus they may have something to do with the new diet she was on....

Ayame blurted out many questions, most of them unfinished because he'd cut himself off and ask another question. Yuki looked irritated as he listened. He just wanted to get away from his brother and go up to his room.

"Haa-san's busy. Something about Akito having a fever of 103 or something like that. And it's okay!" Ayame said, obviously not caring about his and Ember's last meeting.
"Come on, Ember. Let's go up to my room." Yuki suggested, rigid with anger and annoyance. He obviously itched to get away from Ayame.

Yuki raced up the stairs. He let Ember into his room then he slammed the door behind him. "Ugh. I wish he just hadn't come..." He moved the curtains over his window aside so the light outside would shine through.
((Em should ask what Yuki's problem is with Aaya...))
