"Alice, are you sure you saw Ember here? What if she changed her mind about coming here?" Ciara asked impatiently. "Well, there's only one way to find out, isn't there?" Alice replied.
Ciara turned to Edward. "I don't think that she'll come here. What do you suppose we do now?"

"There she is." Edward pointed her out among the trees that boreded the park.
Ember stood in the shadows, she had felt the small hunting group miles before they arrived.
She stood there, watching

"Yeah, that'd be best." He said.
Ember watched from the shadows of the trees, her eyes darted back and forth between Ciara, Edward and Alice.
Her knees where curled up to her chest with her arms wrapped around them and a black leather jacket placed over her shoulders.
She looked down, n ot wanting to make eye contact with her family, she was horified at what she had done.

"Hey guys... I think she's good." Ciara said to Edward and Alice. Then she walked over to Ember quickly, not waiting for them to respond. She sat down across from Ember. "Hey, you okay...?" She asked. This was one of her kind moments.

"No." She responded quietly. "I'm so terrible. Such a terrible...teriible person." She said, hiding her face as if she was ashamed to show it.
"Wait, Ciara, she could be faking it." Edward ran after her.

Ciara already understood that Ember may be faking it and she was prepared.
"It's okay, Ember... look at me... it's okay..."
She had to make sure her eyes were gold.

Ember looked up her eyes were dark, almost black, but there was still gold in them.

"She's not faking it, Edward." Ciara said. "Yuki will be so happy to see that you're back, Ember." She told her. She hugged Ember comfortingly.

Edward rushed over to Ember, also wrapping his arms around his sister.

Alice darted through the forest, heading for Yuki's house. She'd get Yuki...

Alice came back with Yuki. One arm was bandaged, the other in a cast. But he was smiling.
"Oh my... Ember!" He rushed over to her. He sat down. "I missed you Ember..."

Ember pulled awau. afraid she might hurt them. When Yuki came, she looked up at him with her dark eyes, then looked down again.
"Please don't forgive me." She said quietly. "Don't forgive me."

She pulled back, only because she was afraud she might hurt Yuki.
"I don't deserve it." She said.
"Ember, forgivness is not given because someone deserves it, it's given because somebody needs it." Edward said.
