((I forgot to have Kitty-Suki transform! Uhm... we can say she wasn't hold on enough the first time and maybe Hatori could pass him back, then LW could jump in and have him transform.))
Kira had finally stopped crying, and she kissed the wailing baby on the head. She had a nice head of hair. Which was good. And right now, they were still blue. She wondered if they would stay around that color, like Hatori's natural color, or if they would turn green, like her eyes. She rocked Hikari gently and tlaked to the new baby softly.

The baby squealed upon hearing her mother's voice and finally clung to one of her fingers, eyes slightly open now.
Hatori wondered vaguely if either of the children were cursed.

Kira let out a soft laugh when Hikari clutched at her."Do you want to hold her?" Kira asked Hatori, moving the finger slightly that Hikari was clinging onto.

"Yes. Here's Akatsuki." Hatori held his son firmly, and passed him over to Kira. He then took Hikari. He held her in his arms.
When she disappeared, and there was a tiny rat in her place, he'd half expected it. He still felt a little surprised, though. But he wasn't upset. Sure, he was upset that he had children who would have to live the way he did, but it wasn't as if he'd reject Hikari because of it. The baby rat had landed softly on the blanket she'd been wrapped in.
The little rat wailed out. Maybe in surprise at the sudden transformation. But just as quickly as it had happened, she changed back, and Hatori soon had her wrapped in that blanket again, holding her much more carefully now. He was upset that he couldn't hold new baby girl. He bent down and kissed her forehead and her hands latched onto his hair, curling into little fists and pulling curiously.
He smiled to himself and just let her.

Kira looked over at Hikari when she transformed. Poor girl... She was sad for Hikari. But Hikari was still her child...
She looked at Akatsuki when he trasformed... holy sh*t. What. In. The World.
All she was really thinking was, Thank God he wasn't born like that because that would be PAINFUL.

Hatori was almost gawking. The boy was a dragon. An actual dragon.
"Oh my G*d," he breathed. He was upset for Akatsuki too, of course. But right now he was just trying to get over the shock that the boy was an actual dragon, as opposed to a seahorse.

Akatsuki let out a surprised cough and squirmed around. He turned and looked at Hatori eyes wide and inquiring. The little dragon yawned and settled a bit more so into the blanket that he had managed to wiggle out of him.

Akatsuki snorted as though he disagreed with this possibility. The little dragon curled closer to Kira soaking up the warmth. He was, in fact, a dragon. No snake. He let out a wide yawn and wasn't going to be shifting back just yet. It was warm like this.

Hatori, of course, heard what Kira was saying.
"He's an actual dragon," he breathed.
Now if Akatsuki were to accidentally reveal his curse... THAT would be a problem.
Well, according to Shigure, in the past those cursed by the dragons actually turned into dragons. But the curse was weakened, now, and they instead turned into seahorses.

Akatsuki looked back over at Hatori just a peak. Then he sneezed. This may not have been a big deal if a puff of smoke hadn't come out of his nose. Now he made an odd face and let out another snort.

Kira jumped, which caused him to hold onto Akatsuki tighter.
"He just breathed out smoke!" She exclaimed, her green eyes growing wide.

Hatori ran a hand through his hair, taking his long bangs from his face for a moment, before letting them fall in his face again. The look on his face was one of shock.
"I guess when you a cursed man and a woman who is part vampire have children, something odd is bound to happen... Ah, Kira, remind me to never let him near the cigarrettes when he's older..." Of course, Hatori was planning on throwing the last pack out anyway. There was probably no purpose in smoking as a vampire... Though, he hadn't tried it yet.

Kira grinned slightly at his last part.
"True. And I wouldn't let them near any of those things, anyways." Kira said. She herself had been a smoker. She quit after marrying Lee because he hated the fact that she smoked. She gently stroked the top of Akatsuki's head, feeling the rough scales and ridges underneath her finger tips.

Hatori smirked. "No, I suppose not. I haven't been letting Tadao near the cigarrettes either. It's a habit I've been needing to quit. And now I don't feel like I have to have them all the time. I guess that's one of the good things about being a vampire," he said, ending his statement with a chuckle.
"It's kind of amazing that he's a dragon. After all, it used to be normal for the one cursed to the dragon to turn into a dragon. A long time ago, anyway. It's a little saddening that they had to be cursed, though. I was hoping they wouldn't have to go through that."

Kira nodded, still looking at Akatsuki.
"It is sad. At least they won't have to deal with having too much vampire in them.." She murmured. It would be twice as difficult if they were cursed and had to drink blood, too. She wished they wouldn't have been born cursed, but she could live with it and she wouldn't love Hikari and Akatsuki anyless if they weren't cursed.

Hatori nodded. "Yes. That's a good thing," he agreed. "Hm... Akatsuki-kun isn't changing back yet. He's taking a while. Of course, a few of the Zodiac children have..."

Kira gently sat Akatsuki down, but watched him carefully.
"Maybe that'll help..." She murmured. Kira was three times as tired as she was before, and really just wanted to sleep, but sleep could wait.
