"Well you know how they say vampires sleep in coffins? Well vampires don't sleep at all." Azriel explained thinking he must have missed that when talking about stuff the other day. He watched her for a moment. "I didn't expect you to be awake at six in the morning on Saturday." He said with a slight smirk. Most humans he had known would still be asleep.

Jade rolled her eyes. "I'm just a really early riser. I wish I could get more sleep though. My mind refuses though."

"Yep. Jasper does. Er he's one of the vampires in the coven I'm staying with." Azriel said. "It's an interesting ability although it can get annoying at times." He added with a slight smirk.

"Perhaps you could meet them. We'll have to wait a little while though... I don't think they know I've got a human friend." Azriel said. "But they'll figure out sooner or later. Since you can't exactly keep a secret in their family. Since Edward reads mind and Alice can see the future." He explained added.

"Wow!" Jade said. Reading minds? Seeing into the future? Manipulating emotions? And then Azriel's, influencing the weather. Amazing.
"Err," she suddenly glanced at the window of her house. "I should go inside. If Dad's woken up he might wonder where I am. Or, at least, wonder why I'm coming into the house," she chuckled a bit.
