Jackelyn watched. This was Azriel... But he was human. Why? This was stupid. He was going to fall for this human girl like he had for her. The vampire suddenly felt a pang of jealousy. Surely he knew she was alive? Sort of... But now she debated whether to attack, wait, or approach. The scent of the two humans was appealing but not enough to break her concentration.
Azriel walked out of the burger place with Jade. He glanced around warily as though his subconscious was telling him something. Like there was danger. His eyes scanned the streets until he met a pair of ruby red eyes. But even more surprising the knowing feeling to the eyes. Along with that it had the same face and everything as Jackelyn. It was Jackelyn. Why? Why now? What would she do to him while he was a human? Besides all this why was she alive? He thought that he had killed her. But what she he do? Azriel wondered slightly if Jade wold notice his tensing.
Jackelyn slipped down to where neither would see her. She would approach in an area less crowded...

"Something wrong, Azriel?" Jade asked as she ate her last chicken nugget, holding a half-full cup of milkshake in one hand. She'd noticed his tensing.

"Sort of..." He muttered. Azriel was unsure of he should explain the danger or not. Actually he was plain out not sure what to say at all. He was lost for words.
Jackelyn knew exactly what she would say when she caught up with them. More so do. She was thinking of reeking havoc while he was human. Well since he was with this girl it would be truly unlucky for her. Jackelyn didn't plan to leave witnesses and she didn't plan to wait long.
((We can just go poof into the park or something. XD Since Azriel won't want to leave Jade with fear of Jacklyn tracking her or something. So he walks her home. But I think I've got a plan...))

Jade was walking with Azriel in the park now, on the way home. "It was very nice to meet you, Azriel," she said, smiling.

A sudden movement in the tree ahead stopped Azriel from replying. Jackelyn jumped down from the tree she had been in. She landed just a few steps away from the two. "Hello Azriel." She said in such a cold voice it easily made him mentally recoil and have trouble resisting to allow his body to recoil. "Seems your getting yourself in trouble with a human again." She said.
Azriel gulped and took a deep breath in realizing he had forgotten to breathe. She had changed so much. He truly regretted what he had done and what Jade was about to find out. "Don't drag her into things unnecessarily." He said casually keeping his voice to it's normal tone.
"Oh but it is completely necessary." She replied still so cold.
Azriel didn't look away from her harsh red gaze. He was afraid of what she might do if he became distracted for even a second.
((I think I'll have her try to attack Jade but she'll end up hitting Azriel cause he'll get in the way. ^^ Awes he's gonna save her.))

Azriel flinched mentally at Jade's nervous voice. He glanced at her for a moment. He didn't get to answer because Jackelyn cut him off.
"A former girlfriend." She replied curtly and coldly. "A who may you be?" The vampire girl asked tilting her head with surprising cuteness. What was she aiming at?
Then Azriel caught it. Just the flicker in her eyes seemed to tell him what she was planning. It happened so quickly though. He was surprised though when her aim changed and she lept at Jade. Without thinking about the state he was in he put himself in between Jade and the vampire. The force that hit him was strong and he was glad it hadn't hit Jade. Surely it would have killed her. He was thrown to the ground and lost his breath and couldn't think straight for a moment. But the damage had been done. I heard the crack and felt the searing pain in my side. Had it been a rib breaking or what? Surely something had broken. He got to his feet to be faced with an angry Jackelyn. She stared at him anger in her eyes. "Don't say I never did that for you." He said taking in a sharp and painful breath.
Surprise lit her face and she hissed at him. "Your human now. How?!" She spat the last word at him.
"Your getting off subject but I didn't ask to be turned like this." Azriel replied with a wince. Definitely a broken rib or two... Or more.
"Well tell me how?" She growled at him.
"Yoshiaki did it. You should know about him." He forced himself to stand straighter no matter how it hurt. Azriel inhaled sharply but managed to keep his breath even enough after that.
"I know but where is he?" Jackelyn growled the question again.
"I... I can't say... Because I don't know." Azriels voice stuttered a bit. He wished he did know. Then he could tell her and she might get preoccupied with that instead of him and Jade. At least until he could be a vampire again.
"Tsk. Tsk. Now what will we do?" She asked eyes flashing with dangerous intent.
"You leave." Azriel said voice containing a slight pleading.
"It won't go that easily." Jackelyn replied.
"Then take your anger out on me and leave Jade alone." Azriel said a growl getting into what he said.
"Ah so her name is Jade. But it seems as though you wish to protect her Azriel. Doesn't she know that you will be the most dangerous person to her?" These words made Azriel flinch. "You want to know how I became a vampire, Jade?" Jackelyn went on. "Well it was a..." She was completely cut off by Azriel.
"Stop!" He hissed.
Jackelyn's anger in her eyes flared once more but then softened into the cold icy glare it had been. "But it's such a good story." She said so calmly and just as cold. He winced this time in the open.

Jade was trembling with fear, and she was so thankful Azriel had gotten in the way of Jackelyn. She wanted to ask him if he was okay, but she knew this wasn't the time. And she know Azriel certainly must be dangerous as a vampire, and she had a pretty good idea of how Jackelyn had been made a vampire, with how the conversation was going.
Oddly, she wasn't afraid of him.
But she couldn't get any words to come out right now.

Azriel wasn't letting himself become distracted. He stared back at Jackelyn's eyes. His eyes had changed. They seemed to plead as though asking her to go silently. But Jackelyn wasn't that easily gotten rid of. She looked like she might try to go at Jade again. Now that Ariel was further away. He seemed to catch it and edged over to stand slightly in front of Jade. "Jackelyn. If you have to kill me but leave Jade out of this." He spoke confidently as though his death would be nothing.
"But that would do nothing to you. You've lived for over three hundred years. Your death doesn't bother you." Jackelyn replied.
Azriel refrained from showing fear. "I thought since you hated being a vampire you wouldn't put anyone else through it. Or kill mercilessly." He added the last part with an involuntary gulp. Stupid human instincts. They told him to get himself out of this. But he fought his instincts like he had with Jackelyn... Before he had slipped.
Jackelyn's glare wavered and broke. It was fearful and weak. But she regained her control quicker then Azriel expected. "Fine. But I'll find you no matter where you go." She replied coldly.
"I won't run." He replied before she seemed to disappear. He glanced at Jade out from the corner of his eye. "Your probably going to run now... At least most people would." He said quietly.

"N-no," Jade replied shakily. "I won't run." She was personally surprised at her bravery. She could be a wimp at times.
"Th-thanks, for saving me," she added quietly. She was watching the place where Jackelyn had been before she 'disappeared'. "Are you all right? I'm pretty sure I heard at least two cracks when she hit you..."

Azriel winced remembering suddenly. His side ached. He looked down not wanting to show his pain. "I think I'll be fine." Well he wasn't used to being a human so he didn't know. He still wondered why she stayed? She didn't seem like that type that would have stayed. Ug pain again... Humans were so weak. So easily broken... When he became a vampire again he couldn't even think about going back to drinking their blood. Instead he would find the Cullen's. Surely they would help him. Wouldn't they? He didn't want to be like he was. A red eyed monster. This was the first time he had seen himself this way. As a monster...
"I'm sorry you had to get drug into all of this. You shouldn't have had to find out." He apologized keeping the pain out of his voice. Azriel hated being weak. Feeling inferior. Feeling like this.

"It's okay," Jade replied. "Everything happens for a reason, I always say." She smiled a bit. And it wasn't forced, or half-hearted. She realized she was really happy to have met this person for some reason. To have collided with him earlier today.
"You don't have anywhere to go, do you? Well, may parents wouldn't take kindly to me inviting a boy over to stay the night," she laughed a bit. "But I could give you some money, and maybe you'd be able to get a hotel room or something. Though, I'm not sure if I have enough for that," she chuckled. "Or, did you already have a place in mind you could go?" She found herself babbling, which she did now and then, and flushed a pinkish color.

"Thanks." He said with a quick smile. "I can find a place to stay." Azriel lied but he kept it so casual that it wouldn't be seen as one. "So don't worry about it." He added calmly. Now was another moment that he was glad he wasn't a vampire. The blush was something Jackelyn had done that made his control waver.

"That's good," Jade replied, smiling. "Err..." she blushed again. "I'd like to see you again sometime. Maybe we could meet at the park again? Around noon or something...?" She suggested. She tried to sound as casual as possible.

Azriel thought for a moment. Did she really ask that after everything that had happened today? Another thing is could he go through it. Like protecting her from the other vampires. He didn't want to have another Jackelyn around. As far as he knew Jackelyn would come and kill him before tomorrow came. But why did he want to accept her invitation? Almost like he couldn't turn her down.
"Er... Really? Uh, yeah sure." Now why couldn't he have just said yes? He felt stupid for accepting the way he did. He sounded stupid that was for sure. She sounded a lot more casual then he did.

Jade beamed, then composed herself. "Great! See you tomorrow then. Hope you find a place to stay," she said. She suddenly realized that she really liked him. Really, really liked him. She knew that she probably would have been crushed if he'd said no. Which was odd for her, because she'd never 'liked' anyone before. Not in that way. She caught herself spacing and laughed a bit. "Well, I'll meet you here at noon. G'bye," she grinned again and turned and started heading in the direction of her home, but not without looking over her shoulder and waving.
