((I know. XD I was thinking it would be cool if someone would be different and the wolfies and vamps were friends. XD))
"Er... Yeah of course. Also yes vampires and werewolves don't get a long. Although humans aren't supposed to know about vampires..." Azriel explained the sighed. He was supposed to be protecting the secret not explaining it to a human. Well he would deal. She seemed innocent enough. Maybe she could keep the secret. Then again this would mean he couldn't go back to the Volturi. Or Aro would see his thoughts and know. Well this was a tough thing to get through.

"Nn... No where do you get that load of nonsense? Don't you know half that stuff isn't true? That's all so ridiculous." Azriel said answering her questions. "Er... But I suppose that was rude. Sorry." He mumbled. D*** this human speech and clumsiness. How did humans deal with this through their whole life? Plus the inquisitive gaze was starting to appeal to him. Gah! Where did these stupid thoughts come from? So human. So idiotic. He wished they would stop. Now he realized why some of those vampire woman and humans acted like they did toward men. Human men must be stupid, stumbling imbeciles... And now he was one. Curse it.
"As you can imagine I'm not used to being a human. I'm normally not that great with direction... Being human now makes it worse." He added warily.

Jade laughed. "Heh. I should have known it was fake. It sounds stupid. Does anything happen when you step in the sunlight? Oh, and I'm sure it's difficult for you. How long have you been a vampire?"

More questions... "I sorta sparkle I suppose. Not now of course." Azriel said thoughtfully with a glance at the slight rays of sun dancing across the park. "I've been one for longer then you would want to know." He replied calmly. For a moment he thought about telling her more about vampires. But he stopped and left it at that. If she asked any more questions he would answer truthfully. There was no use in lying now that she knew. Then again he needed to make sure she would tell anyone.
"But you must not tell anyone... It could be bad for you knowing about vampires that is." He spoke that last bit quietly but not like he would have as a vampire.

Jade nodded, quite serious. "I'd never tell. Even if I did, I probably wouldn't be believed," she smiled a little. "Wow. Sparkle. Hmmm, I guess you don't have a place to go, right? You must be hungry, too. I have a lot of money right now, we could go out and eat somewhere," she offered kindly. She'd been helping her friend Brittney do paper routes and was getting paid a lot for it.

Hunger. Like he would want... Oh yeah he was human. He was feeling stupid. Should he get close to another human girl? Couldn't hurt could it? For now he was human and didn't want blood of any sort. "Thank you." He said trying to keep his manners. Not that he hadn't when vampire but he had been lesser. Joking around the other Volturi. Angering the lesser ones while making allies with the hierarchy of the group. " That would be most appreciated." He added casually. Azriel didn't really have a lot of money since he didn't really need any. But now that he was like this he figured he would have to eat more then he usually did.

Jade smiled. What was it about him that drew her to him? He was kind. "Well, come on. We'll go to a burger place. Hey, just out of curiosity, how old are you? Physical age, I mean," she added the last part hastily.

Azriel thought for a moment counting and such. It had been a while since he had had to answer that question. "Eighteen." He replied casually after thinking about it. She seemed... Young. Then again to him all humans were young. For a moment his thoughts trailed as to what human food would taste like after so long of eating just blood.

"Well if you really wanted to get technical a lot more then five years apart." Azriel added with a smirk. He glanced ahead and decided that's the way they were going. Then again his sense of direction sucked and he was probably wrong.

"Must have better sense of direction as a human... That's pathetic." He commented but kept the last part under his breath.
((I had a plot idea. *smirks* He fell in love with a human before and 'accidentally' changed her. But he doesn't know it. I figured he could run into her and she's got a sour personality now that she's a vampire. I figured it would be fun if she threatened to go after Jade and such. ^^ You can play her if you like the idea.))

Azriel shrugged. "I do not know. Since I've probably never had food like what you have had." He said glancing at her. What was drawing him closer to her? He wasn't sure if he wanted a relationship with anyone after the last one. She had ended up dead as far as he knew.

"Oh, I know," Jade smiled. She led him into the burger place then went to the counter. She ordered a 20-piece chicken-nugget package and chocolate milkshakes. After the person at the counter gave her a tray with what she'd ordered she took it to the table. "Here we go. Try some. I ordered chocolate ice cream shakes and chicken nuggets."

Azriel glanced at the food for a moment. He smelled the air really for the first time. Strange smells. But not bad ones. He took a bite of a chicken nugget. It was different and surprisingly tasted good. He wondered how much humans were supposed to eat anyway. "It's good." He said figuring that she probably expected him to say something. He glanced at the milkshake before taking a drink. It was cold and surprised him. Since when he was a vampire the only thing he could really feel was warmth. The cold never bothered him. Now he got brain freeze. He made a funny face. "Feels like I got hit in the head or something." He commented.
((Imagine Devon eating ice cream and getting brain freeze. XD))

Jade smiled. "Brain freeze," she explained. "Just press your thumb against the roof of your mouth, like this," she demonstrated.
She ate a chicken nugget.

Azriel nodded but didn't bother with the suggestion. The 'brain freeze' had gone away now. He decided to eat another chicken nugget with another sip of drink. Slower this time to avoid brain freeze.
((I'm going to make Jackelyn's, as in Azriels old girlfriend, bio. ^^ We can probably skip them eating. He's a fairly well mannered guy and won't get to jumpy about how the food tastes. XD))
