If I Die Today

[Platinum]

Kira walked through the park, the bruised on her face weren't as dark as they were before. but they were still there. Her wrist was a light purple color. She looked down at it and touched it gently. She winced. She then let her hand rest at her sides.

She leaned against one of the trees and went into her tance-like state that she went into while thinking about something. She was worried about her daughter. She had left her all alone in the house. Shade had insisted that she was fine, but that didn't mean that Kira entirely believed her.

She also thought about Hatori.

She loved Hatori, there was no doubt about that. You could see it in her emerald eyes everytime she said his name, or looked up into his face. Her heart almost stopped everytime she saw or mentioned him.

She had only felt like this once before.

She heard footsteps walking down the path. It was clear today, and there was no snow on the ground, just a bit slick from some ice...

She looked up and brushed her black bangs away from her eyes. She reconized the red headed man almost instantly.
"Hello, Kureno." She said softly, her voice angelic, like always. She stopped leaning against the tree and smiled softly up at him.

Kureno smiled, just a bit.
"Oh, hello, Kira-san," He said politely, but also in the way a friend would greet another friend.
"How are you feeling?"

[Platinum]

"Good." She told him. "How are you?" She asked.

[Akkii]

"Very good," Kureno replied, smiling. "Oh, I've noticed that Hatori-nii leaves the Main House often. Is it to see you?" He asked, only curious. He'd never tell Akito something like this.

[Platinum]

Her smiled widened.
"Yes, Hatori comes to see me often." She said.

[Akkii]

"That's nice. Do you like the company?" Kureno asked.

[Platinum]

"I do. Hatori is so kind. I'm probably wasting his time every time I go over there." She worried for a moment. But she sooned lightened up, he had told her that she wasn't wasting his time...

[Akkii]

Kureno continued to smile at her and shook his head. "I doubt you're wasting his time. He seems happier."

[Platinum]

"I'm glad. Hatori seemed very...sad...before." She said. "He told me around that same thing when i asked him if I was wasting his time." She chuckled.

[Akkii]

"He was rather sad most of the time, before he met you," Kureno said in agreement.

[Platinum]

She stared into space for a moment, thinking about it, then her atention snapped back to Kureno.
"You seem happier, too." She told him.

[Akkii]

"A little," Kureno admitted. Though he still worried. If Akito were to find out, he couldn't go see Arisa anymore. And he felt guilty, felt as if he were betraying Akito by seeing Arisa.
