She jumped when Hatori first touched her. But her body soon relaxed.
"When she first fell, she was going to die very soon." She said softly. "But since she got here, it's been going up. Right now, she'll live through at least tonight. Maybe it will go back up to normal when their done." She sighed sadly.
The dark, shapless thing hovering over Kira's body. It was very dark now. It kept spitting out venomous dates at her, but the dates got father and farther away. Which was good. And the could was getting a little bit light colored. She wanted that dark cloud to go away.
She squeezed her eyes shut, then looked back at Hatori, who was still holding her hand.
"Thanks." She told him.

"Everything'll be fine, Shade," Hatori said reassuringly. He gave her hand another squeeze. "She's still conscious. Want to talk to her? The doctor's almost done with helping her for now."

Shade nodded.
"Yeah. I'd like to talk to her." She stood up and walked over to hre mother's bed.

Hatori smiled. He took Shade's chair for the timebeing. The doctors working over her finished. They said so far she was doing fine, and they'd come back to check on her later. They walked out of the room.

Shade was talking quietly to her mom. Shade let out a small sigh. She prayed that her mother would be alright.
Kira was awake, still. Though she was rather drowsy.

Hatori got up now and walked over to Kira. He kneeled down next to the bed. Of course, they weren't eye level, since Ha'ri's so tall.

"Sorry about what? Getting sick? Tripping? That's not your fault," Hatori said. "There's no need to apologize. The doctors said that it's safe for you to sleep now, if you're tired." Hatori said, adding the last sentence when he saw how tired Kira was. He glanced at Shade. She'd be able to know if it was safe or unsafe, right? Be able to tell, since she could see when someone was about to die.

"Yeah, you should probably sleep." Shade greeded with Hatori. She gave her mother a kiss on the cheek then went to go sit back down. She watched her mother from the chair.
Shade shivered. She just noticed how cold it was. She had forgotten her jacket when hatori and Carlisle had taken her mom to the car.

Hatori felt her forehead to see if the fever was still there. Yes. But it didn't seem as bad as before. She'd cooled down a bit. That was good. He took a chair and sat down beside Shade.
"Well, today's been pretty crazy, huh...?" He said.

She wondered briefl about what Tadao was doing at this moment. She also wondered if she sould call him a tell him what happened.

"Your mother's still sick, maybe it would be better if you stayed warm," Hatori said, smiling slightly. He pulled off his doctor's coat. He had a long sleeved shirt underneath that, so he'd be fine.

Yes, of course it's obvious, Ha'ri! To us, anyways! We decide whether she dies or not. Her life depends on what teenagers want to do with her!
