Shade looked at the small speck of blood on her hand. She felt felt empty, void of all emotions.
She looked away from her hand and down at the limp body she was kneeled down next too. It was Hatori, his eyes were closed, he look so peaceful.
The door creaked open, and Shade looked up. Her mother let out a horrfied gasp.
Shade blinked innocently, you could now see that the whole front of her school uniform was covered in a thick red substance, and her lips were also dyed a crimsion red.
Hatori had two little puncture wounds on his neck, it looked like he had bled to death, his clothes were stained with the blood, and one half of his neck was smeared with it.
"I'm sorry, Mom, I just wanted a taste." Shade said innocently, looking up at her horrified mother with her big green eyes...
Shade's eyes opened. She didn't move from her spot on her bed. She stared up at the ceiling for a while before she decided to get dressed for the day.

She quickly got dressed and ate, then hurried out of the house, not wanting to be there any longer. She didn't know where she was going to go now, she just walked, thinking to herself ab ut that dream. It was rather strange...
((Neh, it's short and random, and I'm sorr for kinda just randomly throwing Hatori in there. Maybe in this thread, hatori could learn from Moshi that the girls are part vampire. Or Shade could talk with Kyo. I dunno XD))

Hatori was walking through town, actually heading toward the forest where Shigure lived, planning on making a small visit, but also heading in the direction of Kira's house. Maybe he'd stop by? He'd been stupid enough to forget to buy Christmas presents. He'd have to just tell them Merry Christmas. He saw Shade walking too.
"Oh, hello, Shade!" He called, taking slightly longer strides so he could reach her more quickly.

Shade looked up from where she was thinking. She had that same, blank out look on her face that Kira did when she thought.
"Oh. Hi Hatori." The small girl smiled up at the tall man. A small wind blew, ruffling her black hair and making her brown and white scarf sway a bit.
((He he. I gots a really fluffy scarf for Chirstmas that's brown and white ::wraps scarf around my neck:: He he. It's warm ^^))

((LOL. Tohru has one with pompoms on each end. She hit Kyo with it once by spinning around while she had it on. XD))
Hatori smiled slightly. "You're deep in thought?" He guessed. He chuckled a bit.

She nodded.
"Yeah, She said, looking down a bit, she got that sorta spaced out look again, but it was gone quickly and she looked back up.
"Were you coming to see Mom?" She asked Hatori, tucking her hair behind her ears. She looked up at him with her sparkling green eyes.
She resembled her mother very much.

"Kind of," Hatori chuckled. "I was on my way to Shigure's but I wanted to stop by yours and your mother's house, wish you merry Christmas and all that, even though Christmas is gone," He said. "How about you? Where were you off to? Or were you just walking around and thinking at the same time."

"Do you want me to walk with you back to the house?" She asked. She didn't mind going back there with Hatori was with her.

Shade smiled. "Okay." She said, then began to walk with Hatori. It was really cold that day, but the sky was clear and there was no snow.

Hatori nodded and didn't ask for any more information. He knew she would have told him about it if she wanted to. "So, was your mother in good health on Christmas?" He asked.

"She was...but she got really sick that day after." Shade sighed, it was clear that she worried for her mother.

"Okay. Well, I hope she's doing better. Have there been any... problems... at your house...?" Hatori asked. By problems he meant beatings from her abusive uncle.

She paused, wondering if she should tell Hatori something that happened.
"Nothing happened to me..." Shade said. "He hurt one of my cousin's though..." She paused again.

"Would you ever turn Akito over?" She asked him. Her uncle made sure that her family stayed alive. Most of the people of that household were still kids, techinically. Kira was sick all the time, so couldn't get a job. The teen's half-tiime jobs didnt help much, and Takara and Moshi worked two jobs. If Moshi left, the family would probably starve.
Also, it seemed that the family coudn't do anything to hurt their uncle. It was almost like they were conected to him some how.
((Vampire bonds. Muahahaha.))

"I suppose not..." Hatori said. But he personally didn't think Akito would be deserving of going to jail. Sure, she'd been a bit abusive, but she hardly knew right from wrong. She was like a small child, sometimes.
"Maybe he just needs to learn. Learn that he shouldn't hurt people the way he does..." Hatori said, basically to anybody in general. To him, to Shade...
