Connor laughed a bit. "At least you know she cares." He stated. The teen looked up looking around the house.
"It's okay Ms. Arata. Sorry we made you worry." He said; voice completely calm and understanding. Nudging Kyoshi slightly he smirked down at her. "I just kidnapped her." He said chuckling.

Takara began to settle down, but still looked fairly stressed.
"Don't do that again!" She managed to get out. "After what happened to your brother I have no idea what would have happened if you just dissapeared one night..." Takara stopped her rambled. She looked over at Connor.
"O-oh, I'm sorry. Hello." She said, bowing deeply.
Kyoshi laughed and stood her mother upright.
"I'm fine mom, honestly. I spent the night at Connor's house." Kyoshi said to her mother. "So now I'm going to go change and then we will be leaving. Is that okay?" She asked her mother. Takara nodded meekly.

"Don't worry. She's safe with me." Connor said seriously giving a slight reassuring smile.
Lawliet came out of the kitchen and leaned against the door frame. "So what exactly did you do last night." He asked in that flat monotone voice. He was eating a sort of candy bar at the moment.
"Nothing really." Actually it had been yesterday that they had done something... Unless going to Moshi's house and dishing out some revenge counted as something.

Kyoshi blushed and looked away from her uncle.
"I'm going to get get dressed now!" She said, making a mad dash to her room. She came back down quickly, her outfit a little toned down then it normally was. A jean mini with a blue, of-the-shoulder shirt that had designs on it, and a pair of clear flip-flops.
She jogged down the stairs, smiling at everyone.
"Anywaysss, to answer your question L, we just talked last night and did stuff like that." She said, managing to throw in a rather convincing smile.

Suspicious Lawliet just looked at her for a moment. It was easy enough to tell when someone was lying. But he let it go.
"Don't get into trouble." He said before walking up the stairs passing Kyoshi.
Connor smiled slightly and looked over at Kyoshi. "I take it you're ready?" He asked.

Connor gave a half wave as he followed her outside. He once again opened the door for her.
"Hm... Maybe next time we should call before you stay with me." He said with a laugh. "Your mom seemed kind of worried." The shifter added.

Kyoshi laughed. "Yeah. But it wasn't exactly planned." She said, slidding into the passenger seat of the car.

Soon, they were at Moshi's house, following the directions that Moshi had given her. Kyoshi timidly stepped out of the car, and looked down at the adress on the paper, then up at the rental house.
"Looks like the right one..." She murmured, before walking up to the door and knocking on it.
It opened and Kyoshi held her breath.
There he was. Tall, dark hair, blue eyes and dark skinned. He was a darkly handsome man, but also a cruel one.
"Hello, Kyoshi." He said smoothly. "Who's your... friend?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"That's Connor." She said, proud of herself because her voice wasn't quivering.

Connor nodded slightly. He had followed Kyoshi up and was now standing behind her. He looked a bit like a body guard the way he stood behind her. Although that was partially what he was here for. To protect Kyoshi.
"Hello." Connor greeted voice completely neutral.

Moshi looked over at Connor, but he didn't say anything. He turned back to Kyoshi.
"I was hopping that I would speak to you alone." He told her.
"Why?" She asked. She knew she was testing his patience, but what could he do that would hurt her while Connor was here?
He clenched his teeth, but didn't respond again to her question.
"Come inside." He invited the two in.

Absolutely nothing that wouldn't cause him some serious pain.
Connor nodded slightly, putting an arm around Kyoshi's shoulders and walking in with her. "Get into a fight?" He asked Moshi as he looked at some of the damage Connor himself had done.

Moshi looked over at Connor.
"Wild animal." He told him blandly.
"Wow. In the city? That's odd." Kyoshi commented. Moshi glared at her.
"You don't believe me?" He snarled.
"Of course I do!" Kyoshi laughed. But anybody who really knew her could tell she was a nervous wreck inside.
Kiyoshi watched from the top of the steps. He didn't dare to come down though, not with his sister down there and her knowing everything. But if things got weird he would go down there and pound someone's face in.

Connor glanced at Kyoshi. He knew her. The shifter may have said something, but he didn't really think it would be smart being right in front of Moshi. Not that he was afraid of Moshi, he just didn't want give the man a reason to smirk and taunt Kyoshi.
"That's odd." He stated nonchalantly. The teen was calm and his posture reflected that. But it wouldn't take much for him to tense up and be ready for anything. "What kind of animal?" He asked sounding completely oblivious. Yes, he was good with that. It was actually pretty easy to pretend you had no clue about something.

Kiyoshi spoke up before his uncle could respond.
"Wolf." He said, giving Connor a knowing look. His green eyes glinted with something... different.
Kyoshi looked at her brother now for the first time and swallowed, then looked over at Moshi.
"A wolf?" She asked.
"Yes." He responded.

Connor still had an arm around Kyoshi's shoulder. He glanced back at her. She was obviously uneasy. Kiyoshi's look didn't really bother him. So what if he knew? It didn't bother Connor. Although he was surprised Kiyoshi had decided to make himself known.
"Well, what did you call Kyoshi here for?" He asked skipping to the point. At least trying too.

Kyoshi didn't want to live him. BUt if she refused, there would be threats...

Connor glanced at Kyoshi, he felt he was doing that a lot. "Why's that?" He asked looking back at Moshi. Frankly, he didn't want Kyoshi living with someone that had given her scars, or that she feared. It seemed she feared him. Then again, who wouldn't after what he'd done, what he'd called her?
