"Says you..." Megumi said, looking at the bare stick that had once held food on it. "Food is wonderful. I feel bad for you. You can't eat delicious odango... or steak."
Saki had finally searched Alec's mind. She then projected her thoughts to her brother. She was thankful she could do that.
Megumi sent a quick glanced at his sister and then cast the curse. Temporarily, Alec could not use powers.
((XD Those two are so bad. Now Alec shoudl try to use his power. XD))

Aro turned to Alec, and gave him a slight nod.
Alec attempted to use his power, casting a feild of nothingness around them. Or at least tried to.
His eyes went blank and his body rigid. For a moment, he forgot everything.

Aro blinked, then his eyes grew wide.
"You curse him." He stated, but he was still shocked. "But... how? You didn't know his name..." Then it clicked for Aro. "You're a mind reader, too, aren't you?" He asked.
Alec finally snapped out of his daze, where he glared darkly at Saki and Megumi.
"I wasn't even going to do anything, why did you do that?" The young looking vampire asked.

"I tell KyonKyon that I do not read minds. Well, I haven't. Not for years," Saki replied. "I do admit, I feel guilty for doing that. I don't like to do it."
"I wanted to keep my sister safe," Megumi told Alec.

"Ah, out of curiosity, what is your power?" Saki asked, looking monotonous, but at the same time vaguely interested. She tilted her head slightly, obviously curious.
Megumi nodded, also wanting to know.

The slightest stiffening in Saki's spine would be detectable, and the very smallest widening of her eyes.

Aro smirked, and since he was a vampire he could see the slight differences when Aro mentioned Tohru.
He could use that later.
"Why? You said yourself you wanted to be with Tohru..."

Aro left the house, an upset Alec following swiftly behind him. The two moved like ghosts, and Aro quietly shut the door behind him.
