Megumi sat with his sister in silence. They were eating, as they constantly were, while watching an advertisement for some children's show--Mogeta. Though, Megumi was slightly interested. It was for kids his age. He stared blankly ahead at the screen, eating his odango.
"I sense strange waves," Saki said monotonously.
"Whose? Do you recognize them?"
"Aro-san's. And another vampire's. I do not recognize them. They are slightly similar to Jane-san's, though."
"How pleasant..." Megumi commented. He watched the window nearest the door, so he could see them approaching. When he did, he cast a quick curse, blocking Aro's powers, at least. He'd have to wait until he learned the name of the other to curse him.
The vampires wouldn't know that though. They wouldn't even know they had been cursed.
Saki sensed her brother curse the vampires as they approached the door, and decided to go get the door now, before they could knock.
"Hello," she said, watching them after opening the door.

Aro polietly knocked on the door. He had givven Alec orders not to introduce himself. He waited patently for Saki to open the door and let him in.

"Ah, hello, Aro-san," Saki said. This time she offered him her hand, knowing he wouldn't be able to do anything with his powers. She didn't expect him to try anything with strength. He seemed to be the type that was... cunning.
"Who is this?" She nodded to the boy. If it really called for it, she would, indeed, search his thoughts.

Aro smiled slyly and took her hend. It was like trying to read Bella's mind. Nothing was there. If that bothered him, he didn't show it.
"This is Jane's brother." He told Saki, and that was it. He glanced down at Alec, who stood there, looking somber and blank as ever, no expression on the boys face at all.

"I would rather not address him by 'Jane's Brother-san'. But, if I must," Saki shrugged. Any pose of a threat, if she felt anything, she would search his mind, find his name, and tell it to Megumi. She didn't want Megumi to hurt anyone. Just a mere defensive curse would do. She was proud, that Megumi could cast some curses that didn't take effect after three days. If that were so, there would be a problem.
She led them in. "Sit down," she said, sitting beside Megumi again. Megumi looked at her expectantly, but since she didn't return the gaze, he knew she hadn't found out the boy's name. Aro was smart.

Aro smiled at her. A poliet, cold smile that he did not mean. It did not reach his clouded eyes.
"Thank you for letting us... drop by." Aro told her. Aro sat down, and Alec continued to stand next to Aro like a faithful servent.

"Anytime," Saki replied. Her smile, as well, did not touch her eyes. She wondered if merely scaring Alec with her ablility would work. She wondered if she should make him hear things...

Aro smiled at her, then chuckled. "Alright. But I don't plan on visiting often, sorry." He appoligized, although there was nothing but milkd amusment in his voice.

"Oh. I had thought that we'd finished that conversation," Saki commented calmly.
"Would you like some odango?" Megumi asked. It sounded almost like a comment because of his flat voice. He took a bite of his own and chewed, watching the vampires with his dark gray eyes.

"Right. Vampires don't eat human food. That really is too bad," Megumi commented. "Odango is delicious."
"Steak," Saki added.
"Yes, steak too, onee-san," Megumi agreed.

"I would rather not thirst for my best friends' blood," Saki stated. "Or any blood for that matter. I'd like being mortal much better."
Megumi nodded firmly. He was watching Alec intensely.

"I'm sure it has it's advantages, but it really doesn't appeal to me all that much," Saki replied.
"I wouldn't get to eat odango... or steak..." Megumi said simply, finishing his odango.
