Reunion of the 'Normal' Sato's

Kira had gotten the news from her daughter that there was going to be a family reunion at her old house... she had asked Hatori if they could go, and he aggreed. She was really looking forward to meeting her family again.

She stepped out of the car, annd an orange haired teen was sulking behind the others cars, muttering to himself. A large scar covering his right eye, it looked like a burn scar.

A tall, attractive, young man then approached Kira. He had shaggy blonde hair and blue gray eyes. He smiled slightly at her.
"Hello Kira. It has been a while." He told her, his voice was almost monotone... like an android.

Now a child like boy stood in the doorway. He had messy white hair and was wearing white pajamas, he was also barefoot. Now he was just staring at the new arrivals; gray eyes carrying dull curiosity.

Then a black haired appeared from behind him.
"Hello world!" He exclaimed causing the white haired boy to jump. He then ran over to Kira and hugged her.
"It's been forever! I missed you, why haven't you called? Did I do something wrong. Is it her fault?!" He asked now pointing at the orange haired teen.

"I'm not a GIRL! I'm gonna beat your FACE IN!" Yelled the teen, looking very very upset now. "And why the h*** are you here!?!" He roared at Gaku.
Kira almost squeaked when she was pulled into the tight hug. The metal accesories on his jacket and clothes pressed up against her face, hurting slightly.
"I'm sorry I didn't call, Gaku." She appoligized, trying to wiggle away from him.
Gaku pushed her back holding her shoulders. "It's okay, don't apollogize! Your here now and you brought a boyfriend!" He exclaimed.
"Gaku... I've been married to Hatori for a while now." Kira told him.
"Oooh, wonderful! Next time you must invite me!" Gaku said letting go and throwing his hands up slightly.

Night now moved in when Gaku stepped away and pulled Kira into a nicer hug.
"Where's Shade?" He asked in his android voice.
"She's with her-"
"Did she get married too?!" Gaku exclaimed, interupting Kira.
"No, she's with her-" Kira was interupted again, now by Mello.
"Does she have a boyfriend!?!" He asked loudly. "If he hurts her I'm gonna...." Mello said, raising his fist and shaking it slightly, trailing off.
"What exactly could you do, Mello?" Near asked, the white haired boy walking out now wearing slippers, in a flat voice that reminded you of Lawliet.
"You implyin' somethin'?" Challenged Mello.
"Perhaps, I am going to go see if they have refilled the desert table." He replied now turning and walking away leaving a fuming Mello.
"Get back here, you little punk!" Yelled Mello, following after him.
Gaku now procceeded to throw one arm around Kira. "You know, they are pretty crazy those two." He said before laughing.

Hatori was standing slightly behind Kira, almost stiffly. So many scents, his throat burned. Though, it wasn't too bad, he'd gone hunting and stuffed himself beyond full, to prepare for this.

Tadao and Shade arrived at the house, Tadao holding her hand. (Shade isn't already there is she? XD)

Abbi was running around the house inside, debating whether to stay inside where it was cool or go outside where it was hot.

Lance jogged up the sidewalk to the house. He only recognized any of the people because of pictures that his mother had shown him. He'd lived in America, until just last week. His mother was working, and couldn't come to the reunion, so he was coming alone. There were two guys that didn't look familiar at all. Both of which looked like they were related. They were, like, carbon copies or something. One was walking with... oh, gosh, what was her name? Oh, right, Kira. And the other, looking younger, was just walking to the house with... Shade... right? He ran, and caught up to them.

"Uh, hi," he said awkwardly to Shade and the other guy.

Tadao looked at the boy. "Um... hi..." he appraised the boy. "Are you a relative of Shade's?"

"Yeah. I'm Lance. Um, hi Shade." He felt really weird right now. He was talking to a cousin he didn't even know.

[Platinum]

Shade blinked up at him.
"... Hi." She said a bit awkwardly. She didn't know him...

Kira turned to Hatori. "Um... I guess I'll introduce you to everybody... The white haired kid was Nate... we call him Near for some odd reason. And the orange haired one was Mihael... and we call him Mello." Kira said to him. "This is Gaku and Night, Gaku's adopted son." She said, pointing out Gaku and Night. Night smiled at Hatori.
"Gaku, Night, this is Hatori." Kira said to them.
"Hello Hatori-san." Night said to him.

[LoneWolf]

Near didn't take notice of Mello following after him. He just kept walking.

Now Lawliet joined them seemingly out of nowhere. "Hello Kira. Good to see you. Near is doing well in school. Unfortunatly I cannot say the same for Mello." He said, while eating a strange looking bar of candy, still in his 'normal' monotone voice.

"Lawliet! Good to see you got out of Canada! I hear it's extremely boring there." Gaku said exclaiming the first bit. He now let go of Kira and looked as though he planned to hug Lawliet.

Lawliet took a step back. "Not again." He said flatly.

[Akkii]

"Hello. Hajimashi.te," Hatori said, bowing politely.

"Uh, yeah... I just moved her from America, you know? And, my mom, one of your dad's cousins, told me about everyone," Lance explained, still feeling awkward, under the two people's stares.

[LoneWolf]

Now Gaku noticed Lance and Shade and broke from the group. He walked over to them waving. "Hello! Hi how are you Shade, and Lance, yes?" He exclaimed the greeting becoming slightly less loud with the rest. He now slightly randomly put one arm around Shade's shoulders and the other around Lance's.
"Nice day for a reunion." He said; grinning.

[Platinum]

Night just grinned slightly, watching his adopted father try and hug everybody.


"Oh... I see. Hi." Shade said to him.

[LoneWolf]

"You don't remember your uncle Gaku?" Gaku said frowning slightly, almost like a pout.

Near came back out now standing beside Lawliet. "More family..." He said more to himself, looking around at the family.

"I am hungry..." Lawliet commented finishing his candy stick. "It is also hot. Lets go inside..." He said turning and walking back in the house.

((What Gaku said made no sense. XD))

[Akkii]

"Hajimashi.te, Lance," Tadao said politely.

"Uh... what?" Lance asked.

"Nice to meet you," Tadao explained. He then turned to Gaku, wondering if he should save his girlfriend from Gaku's grasp or not.

Shade turned to Tadao, and mouthed 'Save me!' to him.

"I'm going to go see if Mello has destroyed anything yet..." Murmured Kira, shuffling past her family members.

[Akkii]

Tadao nodded, and gently pulled Shade into his arms, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I'm Tadao," he introduced himself to Gaku.

[LoneWolf]

Gaku let go and walked back into the house following Kira. "Yeah, Mello the hothead. She gets like that." Yes, he was constantly calling Mello a she.

Lawliet stepped off to the side with Near before following Gaku and Kirra, being sure to stay a safe distance away from Gaku.

((Isn't Gaku her uncle? XP Pretend it was something random he said. XD And you bring in Kiyoshi and Kyoshi with Myra and Connor if you want. XD))

"Hello, Tadao-san!" Night said, popping up from behind Gaku. "You look like Hatori-san... are you two related?" He asked him.

[Akkii]

"Yes, he's my older brother," Tadao replied, resting his chin on Shade's head lightly.

[Platinum]

Night nodded. "Interesting." He said.

Shade snuggled into Tadao's body as he rested his chin on her head.

[LoneWolf]

Near was now in the main room looking at the main table. He picked up a piece of broccoli and stared at it intently. "I have studied you. I still do not see how you pass as food. Perhaps if I tasted you myself." He then took a bite out of the food. His face became a disgusted expression and he spit the broccoli out on the floor and threw the other part on the floor and pointed at it.
"You... You call yourself a food." He said looking a bit strange as he said this. Now the white haired boy turned and walked back to the desert table to get some cake. Now that he had cake he ate it a little quicker then normal, as if to remove the broccoli taste.

Lawliet walked over beside Near. "Told you it would not taste good." He said bluntly. Near just looked at him.

Kira had walked into the house. Near just spit broccoli on the floor... and was talking to it.
"Your going to clean that up, right?" She asked him.

((Ewww. What if it was steamed broccoli? XDDD It's all gooey. Well, my mom's steamed broccoli is always gooey...))

[Akkii]

((I LOVE steamed broccoli, ESPECIALLY with LOADS of butter. My mom's cooking is the best.))

Tadao was took a seat at the table after pulling a chair out for Shade. He too had seen Near spit food out and talk to it.

"Are your cousins always like this? It almost makes my family look normal. I should invite Ayame and Ritsu over. They'd fit right in," Tadao said to her.

[Platinum]

Shade laughed and sat down.
"Yes, my family is always like this." She said with a chuckle.

Mean while, Kira threw a dish towel at Near to make him clean up the spit and food on the floor.
