"Of course she'll be fine." Lawliet replied. "But I can go get it." He added glancing at Hatori. Lawliet had offered to do this mostly because he wasn't sure how Akito would take it. And if 'he' took it badly then Lawliet might have to do something he shouldn't have to do.

"Sure. My office his on the right side of the hall, three doors down from here. The stuff I need should be in the black bag on the desk. Just bring me that, please," Hatori said, looking thankfully at Lawliet.

Kira looked up at the two, then back at Akito, she quickly glanced away from Akito, though. He... she still looked angry.

"Thanks," Hatori murmered.
Akito stormed out of the room through another door. It was a glass, sliding door. Outside you could see the massive Sohma garden.
Hatori pretended he hadn't noticed for the moment, and pulled out a set of tweazers. After making sure they were clean, he started looking at Kira's face and neck. He only found a few pieces of glass, which made him a bit less worried about her, and plucked them out as quickly as possible. Then he used disinfectant ointment on the worst of the cuts without a word, and finally put bandages on them.
"Well, that didn't take as long as I thought it would," he murmered. "Are you feeling okay?"

She nodded. "Yeah... I'm fine." She said, although she looked sad, broken. "I-I guess that means that we..." She didn't finish. She didn't want to think about that. It was terrible. Akito didn't want them to get married, guess that means they can't. Kira sighed and looked at the ring on her hand. Her hand was pushed against the ground, supporting her body. she looked at the ring on the hand. She looked away from it and back at Hatori. She didn't love him any less now. It was just sad that she couldn't marry him.

"I think I might be able to talk some sense into Akito. I'm not giving up yet, Kira," Hatori said to her reassuringly.

"Hm... So why does Akito dress and act like a guy anyway? Seems like a strange thing to do. Is she gender confused?" Lawliet asked sounding quite serious when he spoke.

Hatori sighed. Heh, why not just give up now, with Lawliet anyway. He'd win later on. "No. She's not gender confused. Her mother just chose to raise her as a boy for her own reasons, nobody knows why. But Akito knows very well which gender she is and such. How did you find out, anyway? That secret's getting harder and harder to keep."

Lawliet stared at Hatori for a moment. "It's not obvious?" He asked blankly. It was apparent Hatori wasn't going to figure out how Lawliet figured out. Well Lawliet wasn't too sure either. He had thought it was sort obvious.

"Well, I do, Shigure does, Ayame does, Kureno does, Shade does, Myra, another of my cousins found out recently, and now you two know," Hatori replied. "It used to just be me, Shigure, Aya, and Kureno. Well, of course there's Akito's mother, Ren, but it's rather obvious that she knows Akito's true gender."
