Hatori was in the house, picking Kira up. It was the day after he'd proposed to her, and they had to go make sure Akito approved. Hatori looked a bit nervous, hoping Akito wouldn't react like last time.
"Come on, Kira, let's get going," he said to her.
((Let's say Hatori already explained everything, so now Lawliet can say that he's coming.))

Lawliet walked into the room where Hatori and Kira were and looked at the two. "I'm going too." He replied in his normal monotone voice. Of course he didn't have his gun with him. Kira wouldn't approve of that.

Kira followed Hatori, then gently grabbed his had. She could tell how worried he was.
"Don't worry... everything will be fine." She said to her... fiancé. They were engaged now. Going to see Akito was a bit of a scary thought, though.
She looked over her shoulder at Lawliet. "Why?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

Hatori nodded. "Understandable enough. Just don't be misled by Akito-san's appearance. He is rather strong, though he doesn't look it," he warned Lawliet, walking out with the two now.

"That's fine." Lawliet replied walking with them. He didn't completely plan to get into a fight with Akito. Well planning was different then thinking on the spot.

Kira was now a bit more then slightly worried. Lawliet only followed her somewhere if he really thought she might get hurt. But, maybe Lawliet was just being over protective. Who knows.
She followed Hatori. "What should I do when we get there?" She asked quietly. She was unsure of how to act around Akito, since she hadn't met him before.

"Be quiet," Hatori replied. "And if you address Akito at all, think over what you say very carefully before you say it. He has a terrible temper and sometimes the smallest things set him off," he advised. Now he climbed into the car. You could tell he was pretty worried, considering he'd forgotten about opening her door for her, which he usually did.

Lawliet didn't really seem to mind what they were talking about. He planned to just stay outside the door while they spoke to Akito. He slipped into the back of the car.

Kira slipped in next to Hatori and buckled her seat belt. She would admit, she was afraid. She looked down at the ring on her left hand, she touched it gently. She loved Hatori more then anything, which is why she was afraid. What if Akito dissaproved?

"Kira, would you promise me now, that whatever happens, if I get hurt or anything like that, you won't blame yourself?" Hatori asked her, not exactly looking her in the eye. It seemed he was very focused on the car key in the ignition.

Hatori started the car and started driving. After about five minutes or so they reached the Main House. Hatori got out, then went around and opened Kira's door for her.

Kira stepped out of the car, looking a bit nervous. She looked up at Hatori, then back at the Main House. She bit her lip anxiously.

Lawliet also slipped out of the car with a glance at Hatori and Kira. "I will just stand by the door while you speak with the head of the house." He said calmly ready to follow wen they left.

Hatori nodded and led the two into the large house. He made sure to keep Kira close to him, in case Akito was lurking anywhere. He stopped at one of the many doors on the second floor of the house and knocked.
"Enter," came Akito's voice.
Hatori stepped in, leading Kira in too. He eyed the vase on the coffee table in the room. He made a mental note to make sure when he asked the actual question, they were far away as possible from the coffee table.
"Akito-san, I have a question to ask you," he said, walking further into the room, trying to make the way he walked to the other end of the room look casual. He got down on his knees, indicating for Kira to do the same.
Akito, who had been sitting at the coffee table reading a book, looked up. "Oh," she looked a bit tense now, stiffening when she saw Kira. She shut the book with a slam, and stood up, walking over to the two. "Yes, what is it?" She asked coldly.
"This is Kira Sato," Hatori said glancing at Kira briefly, not looking Akito in the eyes. "We wish to be married, and I ask you for your permission."
Akito went stiff again, then appeared to be pacing around the room, but she stopped at the coffee table, pulling the vace off the table, looking absolutely furious. She hurled it, and it was aimed straight for Hatori...
((Akito's been throwing lots of things recently. XD But you see, as she does this, she's probably thinking 'If I can't be happy with the person I love, why should my family be allowed to?' XD))
