Hatori nodded. "Never in my life was there a time when I was this happy," he told her. It was true. This was the happiest he'd ever felt. "Should we tell Shade? Tadao already knows I was going to propose. Oh, and by the way, do you like the ring?" he asked, taking it out of the box, seeing she hadn't yet, and holding it out for her to take.

She chuckled. "Imgine her reaction." She couldn't help but smirk a bit. Shade would have a heart attack. She gently picked up the ring, then slipped it onto her left ring finger.
"It's beautiful." She said, gazing at it. She gently touched the ring of diamonds that twisted around it. "Must have been expensive..." She murmured.

She pulled herself up with Hatori's hand. She was still thinking about how amazing this was. Her smile was huge. She gave him a small kiss on the lips when she stood up.
