Kira's smile grew softer and more loving. Not that it wasn't already loving in the first place. She loved this man with out a single doubt, and that was obvious in her sparkling peridot eyes.
The door opened and Kira reluctantly looked away from Hatori's face. Her brother in law walked in the door. He looked tired and worn out.

Hatori wasn't sure... but he had a suspicion that this was the man that had hurt Shade so many times, harmed Ryuu and Kiyoshi...
He stood closer to Kira, protectively.

Moshi's electric blue, ice cold, deadly eyes looked at Hatori for a brief moment.
"Kira..." He sighed. Kira looked confused. "I never wanted to hurt you. But you're staying..."
Kira looked to stunned to say anything. Or too scared.
Moshi's hand flew up, back-handing the woman across the face. Kira's face jerked off to the side, she had bit the inside of her cheek with her sharp canines, a little bit of blood tricked out. When her brother in law had hit her, an explosion of colors danced inside her head from the pain.

"What the he** is wrong with you?" Hatori said, voice ice cold. He got in front of Kira entirely, so he was between her and Moshi. His fists were clenched.
"You've hurt Shade, Kiyoshi..." He had been about to say Ryuu, but Ryuu hadn't wanted Kira to know, so he didn't say the boy's name. "And now Kira?"

"She's straying! I can't let her stray!!" Moshi yelled without meaning too. His ice blue eyes blazed.
Kira spat out blood on the floor. Her green eyes blazed up at Moshi from where she was on the floor. Her fist clenched.
"You've been hurting her? You lay another d*** finger on her, I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" Kira stood up, her eye lit up in a green fire that resembled Shade's when she got angry.
Kira cussed loudly at him. She looked just about ready to fling herself at the man and scratch his eyes out.
"I had to!" Moshi claimed. "She was straying, like you, and she had to be punished." Moshi, said calming down a bit. I was amazing that he was going into a mad rage.
"LIKE H*** SHE NEEDED TO BE PUNISHED!" She yelled at the older man, her frail body shook with rage, her green eyes were venomous with the hatred she was feeling right now for that man.
Kira went to attack Moshi. She was infuriated. She didn't care if she felt any pain right now.
Kira hit Moshi across the face with her fist. She had an amazing amount of strength so such a small a girl. She struck Moshi again, her grrabbed his wrist and twisted it, it made a loud CRACK and she yelped in pain.
She went to attack Moshi a third time. She didn't feel the pain of her throbbing wrist, her the blood coming out of her mouth. She just cared for herr daughter, and she wanted to make that b****** pay for hurting her daughter. She wanted to kill him.

Hatori pulled her back, nearly embracing her in the process. He reminded himself that this wouldn't be the same as holding Akito back. He sighed. Moshi was acting much like Akito. The straying, the need to punish... Yes, Moshi merely needed to be taught...

Kira struggled against Hatori's grasp. Tears spilled out of her green eyes. She was rather upset with herself for letting this go on underneath her nose. She glared dagger's of death at her brother-in-law.
"Let me go!" She told Kira, her tears spilled down her face and hit the wooden floor. She stop struggling for a moment. Her breathing was heavy and almost strained. Her shoulder's slumped a bit, she bowed her head and her shoulder's shook with her sobs.
Moshi smirked, looking as if that he had won over the small girl. He was about to turn around and walk away, but he looked like he changed his mind.
His hand flew up again, hitting Kira head. Blood splattered out of her nose. She let out a small groan. Blood ran down her bronze colored face, she spat the blood out and glared at him again.
Kira tried once again to break from from Hatori's hold on her.

"Sshh, shh," Hatori murmured soothingly to Kira. "Go sit on the couch. I'll take care of you in a second," he promised her. He ran his fingers through her hair.

Kira let out a small, sad sigh. Her body trembled, tears were still spilling out of her eyes.
"I can't believe myself..." She murmured to herself. She turned to Hatori and buried her head into his chest, still crying.
"I'm so sorry." She told him. "I'm sorry." She said quietly, her fists clenched, she squeezed her eyes shut trying to get of the tears. That didn't help.

"Don't apologize. You've done nothing wrong," Hatori reassured. He walked her to the couch as if Moshi wasn't there, made sure she sat down, then turned back to Moshi.

Kira looked up at Hatori, still breathing heavily. She gripped her aching side.
Moshi still smirked. His bright blue eyes glittered dangerously. He turned around.
"I think you've learned your lesson, Kira." He told her. "Have the doctor take care of your wrist." He shrugged casually as if it was nothing.

Hatori walked over to Moshi. He looked down at the man. He'd be able to dodge of Moshi tried to hit him, hopefully. But he had dealt with Akito hundreds of times... though he was more used to handling a girl than a man.
"You said she and Shade ar 'straying'. What do you mean by that?" Hatori asked, nis voice was completely calm.

"I mean exactly what I said. They are straying from my family." Moshi said, looking up at Hatori. He smiled at Hatori almost politely, although his eyes were still chips of ice daggers. He looked over at Kira again, that smile still on his face. He shook his head in shame.
"Kira, Kira. I can't believe that you would do this to Lee. He loved you, and he would always love you, but now you are betraying him. Are you sure this is what you want to do? Turn your back on your husband?" He taunted her.
She glared up at him, still gripping her aching side. "Shut. Up." He growled out. He chuckled darkly.
"I've never seen you put up this much of a fight before." He told her with a pleased smile. She was disgusted that him, that thing, that monster smiled at her, like she was on of his family. She hated the fact that he lived in the same house hold her. She wiped her thick, black bangs away from her sweaty face, then wiped blood away from her cheek with the back of her hand. She glared at him again. His smile turned into more of a frown when she glared at him.

Hatori sighed and shook his head.
"They might be straying from you because of how you treat them. There's a possibility that they may not stray from you if you are not as abusive," Hatori said. He ignored Moshi's remark about Lee. But if he might have to reassure Kira later. Hatori knew Lee pretty well in middle school and even some of high school. They hadn't been close, but he knew enough about Kira's dead husband that he was sure Lee would not be upset because of Kira's choices to fall in love again.
