"Mom went out." Shade said. "She'll be back soon."
Ryuu sighed sadly. "I'll have to leave, then." He said.
"Why?" Shade asked. Why did he have to leave? She had just found out that he was alive...
He sighed again. "I'll tell you later. I promise." He said

"She doesn't know I'm alive. And I'd rather keep it that way." He said to Hatori. "Why do care so much about her, anyways?" He asked him with a raise of his eyebrow.

Hatori blushed just slightly. He wondered whether he should tell Ryuu or not.

Ryuu waited for an answer. Shade decided that she'd save Hatori the embarassement and an oer protective Ryuu.
"You better leave now, Ryuu, if you don't want Mom to see you..." She trailed off.
Ryuu nodded. "Yeah. Better leave. Bye, Shade...Hatori." Ryuu said, then he exited almost gracefully.

The room was soon cleaned, they didn't waste any time on that. Kiyoshi had thrown the broken lamp away.

The door opened, Shade and Kiyoshi almost jumped a foot into the air.
Kira walked in, a confused expression at why her daught and her nephew looked startled.
They both murmered hellos to Kira and Kiyoshi went back upstairs.
"Hello, Hatori." She said, a bit surprised to see him here.

She smiled a feather soft honey sweet smile at him.
Shade could have gagged. But she remained mature and didn't, even though she really wanted to. Honsetly, seeing your mother smile like that at someone you concider your best friend is a bit sickening.
"Are you feeling any better?" Asked Shade. She had been a bit wary to let her mother go out after hitting her head. She msiled at her daughter.
"I'm fine." She told her reassuringly.

Her cheeks were still tinted red, but she nodded.
"All right..." She said.
Somehow, Shade had managed to sneak back upstairs.
Kira smiled up at the tall man that she loved. She remembered when she had just met Hatori and he told her that she was pretty when she blushed. That memory made her turn a different shade of red.
