Really, Akito should have known he'd reply that way. She felt so stupid. Now she was completely turned away, back to him. She remained silent. If he hit her again, so be it. She would not speak to him anymore. He'd be able to remark in a way that would cause her to lose anyway.
Akito waited. She already knew that he probably wouldn't stand for being ignored by his 'fiance'. She couldn't believe she was engaged to this man.

Akito did not respond. For some reason, she feared anything she was about to say would somehow hint that she was already so close to breaking, shattering into millions of pieces. She was just tired of so many things going wrong in her life. There had been several times when she'd wish her life would just stop, so she wouldn't have to suffer. Though, that doesn't mean she'd ever thought about killing herself. She always thought that being killed, especially by one's own self, was not a good way to go.
Now was one of those times whens she wished her life would end.

Kaiser turned Akito around. "Why are you ignoring me?" He demanded to know. She was really just a kid. How could Devon love such an ignorant woman?

Akito almost let out a scream, but held it in, so instead it was a whimper that came out of her mouth. It hurt so much. She couldn't think of anything to retort, and even if she could, she didn't want him to hurt her more. So Akito again went silent.
((Idea! He um... Hm, hurts her until she apologizes?))

"Apologize." He hissed out to her. He continued to twist it in the wrong direction.

Akito held back the pain-filled tears that were almost overflowing in her eyes. They were also tears of defeat.
"I-I'm sorry!" The words came out high-pitched because of the fact she was holding back another scream. Then the tears spilled over. She'd given up. Completely. She wasn't going to talk to him like that anymore, because he would hurt her and force her to apologize.

Kaiser smiled and let go.
"Stop crying." He told her. "You'll be fine." He said the last sentence a bit sharply. as if she were faking the tears to try and make him feel bad for her or something. Who knew what Kaiser was saying.

Akito wiped at the tears. Usually she'd be more angry that she'd let herself cry in front of him like that, but to tell the truth, she just didn't care anymore. He'd broken her. And all in one day. Even Shigure was kinder than this man. Shigure had never tried beating her.
She really just wanted to sit down and hug her knees to her chest. She wanted to cry. She wanted him gone. She'd do almost anything to have him gone.
Akito felt her knees shaking, threatening to give out so she could get at least part of what she wanted. But she didn't, because she was sure he would hurt her again.
((He has succeeded. XD Is it bad to say that I'm smiling right now?))

Akito wrapped her arms around herself and backed up until she was leaning against a knees in place so she wouldn't slide down.

Kaiser smirked at Akito, then told the maids, "Egg flower soup and hot tea." It was the meal Akito had the day she met Devon. He didn't know why he did that. He just did. He hung up and waited for the maids to show up.

A maid knocked at the door several minutes later. Akito straightened up, but waited for Kaiser to get the door. He wouldn't expect her to get the door when she still had tearstains on his face. She would be out of the maid's line of sight, so the maid wouldn't see Akito leaning against the wall the way she was.
