Devon's eyes went wide as Akito fell in. With hesitating, he dived in after her, pulling her smaller body out of the water and then pulling them on together. Both of them were soaked now. He wiped his blonde hair out of his eyes.
"What happened?" He asked her, still startled that she had actually ]fallen out of the boat.

"Another curse broke," Akito mumbled. Her tears mixed with the water that dripped off her face. "Kyo's this time. D**n, it's falling apart Devon. Everything. I'm losing the bet." Considering she was sitting again, she pulled her knees to her chest and laid her head on top of them.

Devon didn't know what to say, so he just pulled Akito's wet body close and hugged her.
"Akito.. I'm am so sorry." He whispered to her, holding her tighter to his cold body,w hich probably wasn't helping her soaked state.

Akito sighed and leaned into him after the kiss. She yawned quietly, and shivered, considering she was soaking wet and an ice cold vampire was holding her, but she held onto him tightly, letting him know she didn't want him to let go.
"Maybe we should have taken Rhea. The b*****d seemed to be beating her, too," she mumbled almost absentmindedly.

"Rhea can handle herself." Devon said softly to her. "She's spending less time at the mainhouse, only going when he's not there. She's being safe." Devon tried to reassure her.

Akito nodded. "All right." She moved her arms to be around his neck.
"Hm, I wonder... if we get married here, then I wouldn't be able to marry that man." She didn't like saying his name. It left a horrible aftertaste in her mouth, just like when she said her mother's name. "Of course, if we get married here, the family wouldn't come." Though, she knew that not many of her family would come anyway.
"I think Alice would be pi**ed, too..." She smirked at Devon.
((xD I voiced one of my ideas through Akito. Haha, it's almost as if /she's/ proposing to /him/. LoL))

"I guess we could." Akito smiled a little. "What to do about the b*****d, though? I wish I could kill him. Maybe... maybe we could get a hold of that vampire that made you human?"
She'd love to be able to hurt Kaiser. The urge was unbearable, and her fists clenched tightly at the thought of being able to hit him, make him bleed.
